HWH AP27707 Slide Roller Chain Replacement Trick - 2005 Monaco Signature
If you have a motorhome with a HWH X slide, if the roller chain breaks it can be very difficult to replace. I found a couple of tricks to make the process much easier. The whole replacement took about 3 hours, for most people it’s a full day job if they can even get it done. I didn’t intend for the video to be 7 minutes long, but wanted to explain it well enough to help other motorhome owners that might find themselves in the same situation. I have a 2004 Winnebago VECTRA Model KD. My slide is the same one. Looks like the same length and same size. Same couch and kitchen area, MY PROBLEM The slide leans out at the top when out about 1 1/2 inches more than the bottom. At one end it hits the ceiling when out. Paint lines are good on the outside when closed. The leaning is a problem. Any way to tilt it back into position. Also mine has a roller in the center right next to the carpet where it meet's the tile next to the cabinet. Hard to see but its there. Looks like there is a adjustment bolt in the storage compartment below for the roller. ANY HELP?
