Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Back In the shop "rambling" on about projects.....A Stihl MS193T that folks wanted new case seals installed. A Huztl 365 "Short Block", the difference between Husqvarna 372xp Origional Edition Cases and the newer 372xp "X-Torq" case design. Around 2009/10 they ( Husqvarna) made some changes to the 372 cases to accommodate the X-Torq cylinder.

I love my ms193! For some reason people like complain about them. Yes, it's not as powerful as a ms201, but it's lighter (which is more important to me) and it has more than enough power for anything you will encounter in a tree. Not to mention the 193 is half the price of a 201

Hello guys, to say something about the newest stihl low.emissions saws, I do beliave that the real problem with these are basically the poor quality of the cylinder, and the piston with only one compression ring to matching the epa and eu II emissions. The top end of these saws (from ms150 to ms661 all with strato charged design) compared to the predecessors std cylinders produces a lot more heat that are not compensaded with an improved cylinder quality. What do you think about this??

Nothing on the 572's yet. Have moved forward on the 441's I'm short a handle bar before video's begin in earnest. I got a new ignition for the 441, and need a handle for the 441c. Have most of the rest.

I tried putting a 372 x torq cylinder on a regular 372 and it fits just fine .so I'm lost do I have a newer version of the non x torq because it fits I have it bolted up right now without a gasket at that .

Of course a "regular" 372 at this point starting some time in 2009 and certainly after 2010 is an X-torq. If you bolt a x-torq on the first generation cases it will fold in and crack the flanges.....and you will find out the hard way. Also during 2009 some of the next generation cases were used on those OE XP & XPW saws. I have a 2009 xpw that was built with the x-torq spec cases. So that could be possible. But to say you were successful in putting X-torq cylinders (OEM vs. AM) on the first original version cases isn't happening without damage.

Am contemplating if I should buy AM cases for my 372xp build, am not happy with the OEM cases and how they have weathered. It is almost like the cases have worn away in places.

Rather see OEM in any condition at this point. MAYBE maybe that opinion will change with this next set I'm testing. They LOOK pretty nice. But won't have a good understanding of how they really compare for a while. SO will keep to recommending OEM until these or some further down the path prove acceptable to me in the testing. I don't have a reason NOT to try the AM cases, just haven't tested them so can't with authority recommend them yet.
