The output regulator pressure cannot exceed the stored tank pressure so in otherwords if you only have 75psi in the tank then your regulator will only give you a max of 75 psi tool pressure. If the tank has 175 psi stored pressure then the regulator will give you 175 psi tool pressure. The rule of thumb is that you can only give out the regulated pressure that you have in the tank, I hope this helps.

Finally a review on the 27 dewalt Iam getting one now

The husky works fine, you won’t get 175psi if your air is only at 147psi 😑 also it says in your instruction manual that your not even supposed to leave air in the tank after your done using it (I won’t explain why) read your manual

175 is max tank pressure. Not air tool is rated for higher than 150 psi.

About how long does it take for the dewalt 27 gallon to fill up?

Hi Richard S I bought he Same Husky Compressor and the Motor starts smoking. I thought it might be the distance of the outlet from the ElectricSupply Panel. So I plugged into other outlets same Motor Smoking issue at about 55Psi of Tank Pressure.

I own the husky. It is very loud 😬

I have an Ingersoll-Rand and NEVER I ran tools over 90 PSI. I can cerank the regulator to the max and wont go past 150 PSI. If you are running your tools past 90 PSI, you will ruin them.

No you wont... I run impacts that need very high pressure

You can’t put out more psi than is in your storage tank 🤦‍♂️
