Even if I have to wait for it the $75 for the compressor is beyond worth it especially when my grandpa has a set of literally new in box air tools including an impact wrench so they’ll finally get used 😁 Thank you!

    I'm looking at one of these to replace my 20 gal central pneumatic harbor freight compressor. It still works but tops at 120 psi and struggles removing lug nuts since I've gone to a 50 ft hose. It is also pretty noisy in my garage. I'm looking at bigger ones to but they all run at about $550.00 . This one looks good for the $ !!

    I have this one also. I love it. My only complaint is really loud. I use it in my garage for mostly automotive stuff. I wear hearing protection so it's not a huge deal for me. If it kicks on in my garage, I can hear it in the house which is 20 ft across the driveway.

  • @javosgarage

    @javosgarage

    Agreed. It's very loud. Funny enough, I have since purchased a much larger Ingersoll Rand SS5 60 gallon compressor that is three times the size and it literally makes half the noise at best. This is a nice, smaller compressor but it's noisy. Thank you for stopping by and taking a moment to leave me a comment.

    Thanks for the video ! this unit caught my eye because of its shape and size I've been looking for a permanent compressor to install on the corner of the garage I don't need the huge one so this might do. I would together a bracket and mount it to the wall and then run Ridgid airlines to my different work benches ! The only thing that concerns me is noise. Don't want something really loud randomly kicking on 😂 Biggest question is is is this unit okay to just leave on or are you supposed to turn it off and empty it after every use

  • @javosgarage

    @javosgarage

    4 жыл бұрын

    @Reedith Graham - Thank you. I continue to like my compressor and it also continues to work well for me in my particular application. The compressor is noisy, no two ways about it. I'm fortunate in that I have a shed next to my garage so except for winter I place mine in the shed and have a line run into the garage. This is really nice because it totally eliminates the noise in my garage. The cold air in the winter causes too much condensation to build up so during the cold months I keep it in the garage. I leave my compressor on and I do a drain and flush (let it run for a few minutes with drain open while running) once a week. I did build a manifold that has an air dryer, filter and regulator along with shut off valves. My channel is too small for YT to allow me to post pics but I did setup an IG account. I will take a pic later today of my setup, post a pic there and provide you a link back here so you can get an idea.

    @Gordon McElvany - Hi Gordon. You know, I struggled with that idea when I was editing the video. In the end my thought was speakers on a computer wouldn't really be able to provide a realistic sound level so I decided to mute it rather than have the general noise for the viewers. I guess it would have been good to include a short clip of it running to help provide an idea of the noise. I appreciate the feedback because I will use your information to improve future videos. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a great observation - much appreciated!

    Is husky dependable for continuous use?

  • @javosgarage

    @javosgarage

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Robert Munguia - Hi Robert. This is a "loaded question" and I'm sure it depends on who you ask, LOL. My personal experience so far is that it is doing great. I have had no problems with my compressor whatsoever. However, I don't really encounter heavy, continuous use that often so my experience may be different than what you would have. It does generally have 4 out of 5 star reviews on HD's website. My local HD store is really good with returns and I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up. If it doesn't perform as needed or concerns come up about reliability I would return it. Hope that helps you a bit. Thanks for stopping by!

  • @javosgarage

    @javosgarage

    4 жыл бұрын

    @Pat Mason Mason - Interesting, wouldn't be the first time I've seen some variances in the "same" tools over the years. Wish mine would have come with the feet. I'm thinking I may make another video showing the mods I did to mine to make it work better for me. I'm with ya on the tools, since I picked up my 18v Rigid impact my air impact just collects dust, I've used it maybe three times of the last few years. Same with my air ratchet. I went to the Milwaukee M12 3/8" and haven't touched my air ratchet since. To me, electric is far better because I'm not running my compressor or tripping over air lines. Thank you for stopping by and taking a moment to leave me some feedback - much appreciated!

    @Kentucky Cornbread - First off, love the YT handle! Nothings better than cornbread! I hear you on the music (no pun intended). Unfortunately, once the video is published I can't go back and edit that. I have a few videos where the music seemed fine when I was editing with my headphones but unfortunately was much louder with my laptop speakers (or vice versa) and I didn't notice until it was too late. I'm still a rookie at producing videos but I really am trying to improve with each new video. Whether it be sound, lighting, video quality or content I'm always looking to improve. Great critiques like yours help me do that so thank you for taking a moment to leave me some feedback. I do listen and keep it in mind as I move forward. @Duzzit Matter - I noticed the background music issue yesterday when I was looking for something in the video. I'm still really new to the editing end of things here but I'm trying to get better. The interesting thing is when I edited this video I had headphones on and used a different computer and it sounded just fine. Once I published it and listened on another computer the music is too loud. My goal was to just have it be background music, not make an MTV video! LOL! Sorry about the music, I wish I could change it now,
