That weather lady needs to go back and read about El Niño, Enhances Hurricane Season period, La Niña inhibits and cools the water and is forecast to develop this summer and persist throughout winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

How is it potentially catastrophic? when Hurricane Beryl 🌀 already took lives on the grenada islands.🏝

Climate change isn’t speeding up, it’s been changing gradually since the Industrial Revolution. These weather systems are driven by the CO2 released from burning a tremendous amount of coal for over two hundred years. The frightening thing is that even if we stop using any energy with emissions now, it will take about two hundred years to peak and then settle down. Strap in 😮😱😱😱🇬🇧🙏🌈♥️

We should send our Jamaicans to help them rebuild.

If we can build wind proof jackets why can't we build like inflatable storm sheets to move the wind upwards and redirect the force upwards and disperse it as well as build windfarms in Jamaica? The problem I have is now everyone is going to reply to this comment on why western engineering will be needed...I am not disputing that but there is a general mistrust now and as with everything you will need to earn the trust back.

Don't know what all the fuss is about, it's hurricane season them lot are used to it , they're getting ready to face whatever comes there way, hurricanes , floods , wild fires , earthquakes , volcanoes etc, always cause death. You can never win against Mother Nature she's a single woman, and without her we wouldn't be here today , God bless her.. 👍💯

They don't usually see strong hurricanes. The most recent direct hit and most damaging was Gilbert in 1988 .
