A friend of mine ran a well water drilling truck many years ago. They kept burning up the bearing in the drill head. If I remember it was weekly... They switched to using Schaefer's grease and that immediately stopped destroying this particular bearing. It was 3 years later and still running the same bearing. Schaefer's must be doing something right...

We have heard similar story's from farmers in our area as well. We use the Schaeffers grease in our shop and on our own personal cars!

I just bought a 2024 F350 and with less than 700 miles on it I am trying to find the oil that is going to give me the best shot at it lasting. The number of times this oils comes up is shocking. They have million mile motors that look brand new with oil change intervals of 25,000 miles!!!!! Absolute Game changer and those videos are 4+ years old.

As a Schaeffer rep, not only does our oil make more HP, but it lowers overall operating temperatures (which is always good!), allows for extended oil drain intervals (less oil changes each year equals more money back into your pocket), increased fuel mileage on average 4-6% (enough said) and it cleans the varnish and crap out of your engine. The longer you use it, the better it works. Check out the Econoline (4.6 2v ford) 1,000,000 mile engine tear down. It flat out works.

My friend swears by shaffers, i just found about it...seen video with caterpillar semi with million miles and running like new, maybe i switch my semi, i was changing 12,000 miles with shell rottela and this shaffers in that caterpillar was changed at 60,000!!! Its almost 2.5 times more expensive but i would still save dough and engine will last longer..li think i will give it a try 😁

Nice to see a dyno test done on Schaeffer’s. I would bet after you run that oil for a while and it has time to clean up the engine of the old Mobile 1 out of the system you will see even more gains. Do another oil change with new filter. I had a guy working for me with a new Ram that once he ran out of his free oil changes he switched all his fluids to Schaffer’s and his gas mileage went up 3 miles per gallon. That just shows how Schaffer’s oil adds lubricity to all the parts of the engine, transmission and rear differential. That alone will add life to your vehicle. It is the only lubricant I run in all my vehicles and Semi’s.

I don't know about horsepower. But having switched to Schaefer's full synthetic 9000 I gained 4 MI per gallon in fuel efficiency. Originally what got me to switch, a good friend became a distributor for Schaeffer's. He was doing the brake and bearing viscosity breakdown test. We tested multiple types of oil all were able to break the viscosity. The last to be tested was Castrol full synthetic it also broke viscosity. He poured a little bit of Schaefer's in the cup with the castrol and it would not break viscosity. At that moment I was sold and I've been using it ever since. I could see where it has the possibility of being ran dry. Another good friend buys it by the 55 gallon drum and has been using it in his heavy equipment for years.

It would be interesting to compare Amsoil signature series with the Schaeffer’s. Amsoil beat Schaeffers in Project Farms test.

That's actually not correct. He tested Schaeffer against Mobil 1, and Schaeffer came out on top. Schaeffer was interestingly absent from any other oil test/shootout video. He then tested Amsoil against Kendell, then Amsoil against Penrite, before finally testing Amsoil against Pennzoil in the "championship" to declare Amsoil the winner. I've look all through his entire video library, not another "Schaeffer versus ...." video. In his chart, he claims that Schaeffer lost to Pennzoil, however there was never a video of that.

Funny story. I was talking to an Ams Oil dealer out of Colorado. He had a Schaeffer rep come out and demo the Schaeffer product. He was so impressed with the comparison against Ams Oil that he ended up converting to Schaeffer. So now he sells Ams, but runs Schaeffer. 😂

Wow surprising results. Very well done testing. I remember a similar test years ago on one of those horsepower tv shows where they swapped everything for royal purple and had gains about like this. I kind of thought it was BS but maybe there is a little something extra to the premium lubricant products.

I heard some wild stories about Schaeffers. Like guys run the car out of oil and still drive it 20 miles and bearings looked brand new. I just switched to Schaeffers and VR1 from RP.

@@buiItnotboughtmy brother drove the old family car (96 Dodge Intrepid) from CDA Idaho to SLC Utah with 1 quart of oil without knowing. I had to put 4.5 quarts in when he got there before it hit the hash marks. It had been using Shaeffer’s its whole life.

I have a 2013 Toyota Sienna, I drive it up to MI and back to Fla. once each spring and fall. The Schaffers after 2,800 miles started having my triangular Exclamation point light come on at idle and start up. I had it changed and the problem goes away. I am literally in the middle of a long term TEST. I am going to run another typical year, then see if the Toyota's idiot light comes on again. IF SO, I am going to go to my personal choice, Amsoil, and see how it survives, my experience is, Amsoil has NEVER failed, I have been using it in everything since 1982, we will see in this real world test.

Is that for vvt? Could have cleaned sludge up and caused it to brake free. Even Wal-Mart $20 oil works just fine in normal vehicles up to 5k.

Only oil I will use, it's not available everywhere & wish it was .

The Mobil 1 had 50 miles on it, per Shaeffer's request, it was basically new (though they didn't pay for it - or the Schaeffer's oil that was used in this test.) Kyle drained the Mobil 1 out of the cougar and put it in his daily driver at the next oil change. We wanted to do a single day too, but: 20 dyno pulls in a single day is kind of a lot, especially when its a working dyno. The weather was extremely similar on both days, (more humid on the Schaeffers day by a tad). The dyno is SAE corrected and all that. In Illinois, the weather can change more in a couple hours than it did between those two test days. In short, its not perfect scientifically, but its about as close as we're going to get in atmo.

Schaeffer's also wanted the car to run the oil for a week. Claiming it needed time to fully take effect after the oil change, so we daily drove it for a week.

The longer you run that oil the more it should improve.

Mobil 1 used to be good oil, now its only ok oil. Defiantly not something you should use in a performance engine. I'd be interested in seeing this same test vs AMSOIL Dominator. I'm not in any way saying Schaeffer's isn't high quality but..... you tested it vs a mid grade oil at best. Amazon oil, Super Tech are on par with Mobil 1 these days, Mobil 1 has taken a page out of Winchesters book : Lets ride our name off the cliff and make as much money as possible before people figure out our product is junk.

Hey can you do Pennzoil ultra platinum and see how that does?
