Luz and Hunter definitely have an interesting antagonistic dynamic that's akin to being siblings. Luz doesn't like Hunter for the most part, and even tends to one up him, while Hunter equally doesn't like Luz, and sometimes gets the advantage over her. Their relationship definitely changes after hollow mind, where they are both equally traumatized by Belos aka Philip Whittebane.

@Just A Random Human, I wholeheartedly disagree with that. 1. Hunter obviously has a crush on willow, based on the way he absolutely crumples after Willow shows how confident she really is in "Any Sport in a Storm," and in "Labyrinth Runners," he blushes everytime shes onscreen. So it would be weird asf if they were siblings. 2. On top of that, it would break the relationship of Luz and Hunter being close enough in age to be so close in their relationship as siblings. I probably wouldn't be as close to either of my siblings if I had one that was in between. (My older siblings is 15, younger 10, I'm 13. So if I had a sibling that was 14, I might be closer to them than the 15 year old.) My best friend also has 8 siblings, and they confirmed this.

Also as the season progresses hunter gets more and more of a personality. Season 1 he was a background character both barely any lines (if any). Despite Hunter is technically a clone/grimwalker of Belos/Philip's brother I still see him as a possible brother figure to Luz. Sure they started off on a bad note, kinda like what happened with Amity, Lilith, and several other characters seeing them getting along following the events going into Belo's mind, I can really tell that these two are great together as siblings, even if they're not related by blood.

Honestly, Hunter stops being intimidatig after the mask is removed and I think that's supposed to be the point. Masks tend to have a lot of symbolism and for Hunter I think that's him having a connection with someone like an actual connection.

Truth be told I always saw them more as good but complicated friends rather then having sibling energy, and this is from a person with a sibling. Gus and Hunter actually gave me more of a sibling vibe to be honest. Also just to be clear, I didn’t really get much of a couple vibe from them either since Amity was already in the picture. Either way I like the relationship these two have made in the show, it’s one of my favorites to watch them interact.

@@Music-rq7kw As someone with a sibling whom I argue with all the time I can confirm that you are very, very wrong. Everyone has different relationships with their siblings, for example if I had to use one from the show I’d say I relate to Eda and Lilith’s relationship. I brought up Gus with Hunter since their interactions came across as way more brotherly, while Luz and Hunter struck me more as classic enemies to close friends. If you feel sibling energy between the two, that’s fine. I just personally didn’t get that kind of vibe in particular and that’s just my opinion, although to an extent I can see why people view it that way.
