The line about “turning on the light” when the gang was helping luz wake up is probably one of the best and most poetic lines in the show because it shows how much faith they have in luz and because her name is Spanish for light

@@connergoessupersonic Not to nitpick here, but the human realm episodes weren't actually planned out originally. Judging by some storyboards, it looks as though the Day of Unity was always going to be the series finale (Amity still has the Titan Key in a storyboard for Clouds on the Horizon). Hence, the witches were likely not meant to visit the human realm until the Day of Unity was pushed forward to the end of Season 2, which also coincided with Dana deciding to integrate the Collector in the show and resulted in the circumstances we have today.

Any other show would’ve made her check it and act like it wasn’t a big deal because they are dating. Amity is like “you don’t have to tell me everything, just the things that are bothering you.” 😭😭

They're friendship and later relationship sure was interesting. This was pretty much one if the reasons I became a TOH fan as I heard a lot about this ship which fascinated me. And while the show maybe over I'm happy the show ended with them still together and loving each other. And it's all thx to Dana Terrance and her team.

Now this character development or romance was fantastic. Not lgbtq but I do love to see this. Also not rivals to lovers. I feel so nostalgic watching Luz and Amity from season 1, like I was just transported back to 2020 when the main hype surrounding the show was the Grom episode. I still remember when the first episodes of season 2 came out, and the fandom (including me) was losing their shit since there were signs Luz was starting to like Amity back.

She even admited to amity that she does stuoid things around amity too. It was evident around season 1, especially in the adventure of the elements episode. According to Dana, she was oblivious to some things that are in front of her due to her being heavily focused on going home and heping eda with her curse. Luz didn't realize she had feelings for Amity until season 2 when Amity yells "Stay Away from my Luz".

Between saving the Boiling Isles and the Time Jump to Luz’s Quinceañera, I wonder who said “I love you” first?

There such a cute couple. “So close no matter how far couldn’t be much more from the heart, forever trusting who we are and nothing else matters.”

All signs pointed to luz and willow ending up together and luz and amity being rivals in season 1, but in the end luz and amity ended up together. Maybe why they’re one of the best and most popular tv couple to ever exist

Those 2 girls make a lovely couple and they also made perfect for each other.

Personallity I always love this ship, i love the dinamic and the characters in this couple, in my opinion one of the Best girl x girl couples in the animation story.💕💜🤎

The show deserved to be much longer! The first season could focus on Amity becoming a better person. In the second season, Amity finally makes amends with Willow and the others; and then she began to show signs of affection towards Luz. So by the third season, Luz and Amity are officially a couple. I just feel that because the series was cut short, their relationship was pushed. And it didn’t have time to truly blossom. I will say that they’re one of my favorite pairings.

I found this randomly scrolling through my homepage (idk how it got there, since i didnt know what this series was) and now i LOVE IT. Thank you so much for this video, if this video didnt exist, i would have never discovered The Owl House.
