Well, he was smug because he was confident in the role of the Golden Guard, the "machine" and right hand man of the emperor. Instead as Hunter he's all awkward and less sassy because he's the one finding himself in a weird environment he isn't a expert with, he lacks the same confidence as the Golden Guard, plus he's lowering his guard (not a pun) around the others and actually acting like people his age.

Yeah, conflicting love interests get so annoying, so I’m glad this show made canon/implied (but insanely likely) romantic relationships dead set and made the rest platonic. And Odalia and Alador is an exception because there was no love(?🥺), so divorce-to-Alarius W.

@@LittleHobbit13 Reminds me of why I liked Reyes and Salter from CoD IW. Granted it’s mainly because it’s military shooter, but the main guy and main girl are platonically dedicated to each other. Been “together” for 10 Years and through that entire story, they stay true to being siblings in arms.

Well, they act like siblings and they are pretty much siblings at this point but they aren't stepsister and stepbrother because he was never legally adopted by Luz mom and if he was adopted he was probably adopted by the guy with Abomination hair (I forgot his name and it's been too long since I last watched TOH)

That was an animation mistake, the scar was always there (if you don't believe me go to the episode where he helps Belos with his attack, see the way he flinched when Belos approached him with the vine. He wouldn't be scared if the scar wasn't the making of Belos)

@@rachellamont3594It's literally the same as Sonic & Tails/Amy & Cream with the whole older sibling/younger sibling dynamic, whereas, while they treat each other as siblings, it doesn't mean that they're biologically related, heck, Luz even treated King as a little brother and King treated Luz like a big sister(as stated in the season 2 finale)
