1)Oxygenated blood leaves the lungs through the pulmonary veins and enters the left atrium of the heart. From the left atrium, it passes into the left ventricle. The left ventricle then pumps the blood out of the heart through the aorta. The aorta branches into smaller arteries that carry the blood to all parts of the body. In the tissues, the blood releases oxygen to the cells and picks up carbon dioxide. The blood then returns to the heart through the veins. The veins carry the blood to the right atrium of the heart. From the right atrium, the blood passes into the right ventricle. The right ventricle then pumps the blood to the lungs, where it picks up oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. This cycle of circulation is repeated continuously. 2)They prevent the backward flow of blood from the ventricles to the atria. This is important because it ensures that the blood flows in the correct direction. 3)Arteries have thicker walls than veins. This is because arteries carry blood away from the heart, where the pressure is high. The thick walls help to keep the arteries from bursting under the pressure. Veins, on the other hand, carry blood back to the heart, where the pressure is low. The thinner walls of veins allow them to expand and contract more easily, which helps to keep the blood flowing. Amazing session mam! 🎉🎉 Thank you

thank you, mam, for such amazing and informative session. ♥ Ans 1) oxygenated blood from lungs travel through pulmonary vein and enters lent atrium, then it enters left ventricle and through aorta it leaves heart and travel different part of the body. Ans2) The main function of valves present in atria and ventricles is to prevent backflow of blood. Ans3) Artery are made up of thick elastic walls whereas veins do not need thick walls because the pressure of blood in veins is comparatively low in veins then artery instead of thick walls, they have valves which prevent backflow of blood.

1:13:55 1.Movement of oxygenated blood Lungs (oxygen comes in the blood) --> pulmonary vein --> left auricle --> left ventricle --> aorta --> cells of different body parts for the purpose of respiration [ here it gets deoxygenated] 2. Valves present between : Right auricle and right ventricle --> tricuspid Left auricle and left ventricle --> bicuspid These valves prevent the backflow of blood 3. Arteries are generally thick as blood through them flow with a great pressure.

Thanku mam ❤️ Ans(1)~The movement of oxygenated blood from lungs _ pulmonary vein -left atrium _ left ventricle _aorta _ body parts Ans (2) ~pulmonary valve is present btw right ventricle and pulmonary artery to prevent the backflow of blood and aortic valve is btw left ventricle and aorta and prevent the backflow in left ventricle Ans (3) Arteries are thick walls because blood emerge under high pressure and vein have thin walls because blood is no longer under the pressure...

The oxygenated blood from the lungs is brought to the heart by the pulmonary vein. The oxygenated blood then enters the left atrium and passes through the left ventricle. The blood from left ventricle is pumped into the Aorta which carries the oxygenated blood throughout to all parts of the body Valves that are present in the veins prevent backflow of blood as there is no pressure like that of arteries in veins to keep the blood moving in one direction Arteries have thicker walls than that of veins in order to withstand high pressure of blood flowing through it.

Hw answer(1) : oxygenated blood brought back to HEART by PULMONARY VEINS which enter LEFT ATRIUM LEFT ATRIUM to LEFT VENTICLE from LEFT VENTRICLE TO AORTA AND from AORTA TO ALL BODY PARTS (2) the VALVES IN HEART PREVENT BACKFLOW OF HEART (3) VEIN(I) : Carry deoxygenated blood to heart (II) : thin walls present ARTERY(I) : carry oxygenated blood to all body part (II) : thick walls present
