Notes: -Blood is red not blue -Blood maintains pH and temp -Transports hormones nutrients gasses -Made of plasma(liquid), cellular components (red, white blood cells & platelets) -arteries carry blood away from the heart -veins carry blood to the heart -capillaries deliver oxygen -heart: •r deoxygenated blood L oxygenated blood •atrium thin walls •ventricles thick •needs it's own blood supply •beats 100,000+ times daily •anatomic differences change blood pathway flow meaning oxygen rich/poor blood can be mixed causing complications

I just discovered this channel this summer. Why couldn't youtube have brought it to me earlier? It is a great channel, and even though I don't use this for school as often (school hasn't started), it teaches me SO much and is so fun to watch. The Amoeba Sisters are the BEST!
I am so glad I came across this. I have been so hooked on your videos. Thanks for making this simpler than what my teacher took 4 hours to teach. 😘
I love your videos. They are so clear and I can understand the video so well. Science is my favorite topic so I usually search for science videos to clear my doubts and I'm so glad I have come across Amoeba Sisters. Your videos explain in detail without giving the "Boringness" that usually shadows us all when we are learning hard and complicated topics in detail. These videos give a will to learn more and even makes us learn topics befor our teachers even introduce them to us! Thank You So much for making my love in science even stronger and for clearing my doubts. Thanks Again Amoeba Sisters!!!
