Homework question - If birds or mammals blood mixed in there heart then they will not maintain there temprature, they not getting more energy because mixed blood doesn't transport the Oxygen properly in the Cells of our body.

during translocation , the water in xylem moves inside phloem...but why doesn't the sucrose in phloem not moves inside xylem ?

pressure gradient. osmosis works like that. the increased sucrose in the phloem causes the water potential to decrease and thus allow water to come inside.
