Great review! Seems like you get a lot for your money. This is something to put on my wish list for when my skills become worthy of an upgrade.

I have had this for over a year as a daily driver and I have Zero issues with lag. I use it in ZBrush and other 3D software without any issues. If you have any other pen tab drivers on your PC it won't play nice . I have used this on 3 different machines and it worked just as good as my Wacom. The lag I see in this video is not something I have experienced at all.

I don't have any other drivers installed... But the lag is definitely noticeable.

@@NemanjaSekulic Perhaps the lag occurs because you are using Brush Stroke Smoothing features in Photoshop ? Have you tried to disable it and see what happens ?

Obviously it works great for Photoshop, but I'm curious how well it would work for Autodesk Maya 2022 or with the Unity game engine? I'd love to be able to paint right onto terrains and 3D objects in Unity, use it for making splines and animation curves or tweaking any really fine controls that are a bit finicky and jumpy with a mouse (and waste my time trying to fight with or manually type in values). If it works good with Maya I could see it being a huge boon for everything from polygonal modeling to rigging and animation ... even tweaking things on really intricate UIs with tiny, fine controls which are difficult to manipulate with a mouse. I'm really a programmer / software & games engineer, not an artist, but I do dabble with a bit of art and often need to do things like creating useful textures for my shaders, VFX or new objects, and I have to tweak and edit animations from the 3D art & animation teams and stuff like that ... in my hobby projects outside of work I'm wearing all the hats, basically, and trying to do my own "programmer art" ... I'd really like a high quality drawing tablet that's going to work well with Photoshop, Maya, Unity and all my important development tools. I think it would up my game significantly to be able to naturally paint/draw on things and finely control stuff.

@@GameDevNerd I used it to sculpt in Blender, I don't own Maya or Zbrush but Blender works great. Modelling worked fine too but it was a little bit unintuitive because there are no hotkeys on the tablet itself, you always need an additional keyboard. I find it more comfy to just use a mouse, but thats personal preference, it definetly works. Painting terrain in Unity works too, even tho i don't think you will be able to make use of the pressure sensitivity, it's working just like a "fancy mouse", nothing more. Still pretty nice tho. Controlling the Unity UI with it was kinda annoying for me, i just use my keyboard and mouse for that kinda stuff. But yeah, this thing suits my gamedev needs, but I am mainly working on the Illustration type of things. I'd say I spend 60-70% of the day in Photoshop, I wouldn't get a tablet of this size for in engine work and modelling only.

Yes, pen has two programmable buttons. Like all other pens. For now everything is ok here. Thanks.

They must've added that keyboard to 22 plus after launch as a bundle because mine didnt have it :D (bought it on release day)

I have the same tablet , but the issue is the driver doesn't connect properly and can't even read my tablet .... I still couldn't solve that issue even I installed older driver versions but still the same case...

For a begginer who wants a good tablet to start with, is Kamvas 22Plus better then Wacom Cintiq 16? În terms of performance, then the diagonal. Thanks.

The kamvas 22 plus is the best. You can't get better for this price.

Depends on what software you use. Both are amazing. I am using Huion Kamvas 22 Plus and also an iPad Air 4. I use desktop programs as well - Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. And I also wanted portability and wanted to learn Procreate as well. Thats why I bought both of them. Anyway, you wont regret buying an iPad. It would be a great investment. You can go for it because it’s a standalone device and serves other things as well apart from being just good for drawing and painting. Although now iPads with M1 chip onwards can run Photoshop and illustrator also. But if you are very specific that you would want to run desktop application only, then you can consider buying Huion. Otherwise iPad 12.9” would be really good enough. If you do not have any money constraints, then I would suggest you to buy both.

i saw there's some lag between the hand movement with the brush in the screen. Will it be bother?

its 100% this guy using stabilization at a high setting. You can see other videos where there's almost no lag. Stabilization will always make your stroke slower

It has slight delay?

They say theres no parralax but I still see on my plus at least 1-1.5mm air gap.

I think soon Huion will start selling “Kamvas Pro 22 (4K)”, cause even Kamvas Pro 16 has 2.5K/4K resolution now.

@@laterboi4528 When Kamvas Pro 22(4K) becomes available, the price would be most likely over $1,000, because 16(4K) is $900 and 24(4K) is about $1300 (at Amazon.) That means, the 4K version will be like 80% more expensive than the current (1080) model. Personally I think the $400 difference is justifiable because it's something I'd be using for at least several years.

I installed the driver but it didn't work on my kamvas 22 plus , tried many different drivers but still same issue .. now I can't use it on my laptop + didn't get any reply from the support.. that's why wacom still the number 1 , less issue , good custom support... if anyone know how to solve the drive problem please let me know , I will appreciate it a lot

There should be 0 delay! Watch other videos of the same product. I think you got a faulty product

It was a driver issue. I have reinstalled it and now is good.

This display has 14ms latency, their 4k 24 inch only 10ms. Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 inch also has 14ms latency so it's no different than the display in the video.

That delay when drawing has nothing to do with the tablet that is just acting as a monitor. He probably turn smoothing to high value thus the delay in brush. The more the high end your PC the more it can handle the smoothing and vice versa when you use low end pc.

What do you think about joining Benny Productions' edit race?

I still prefer the normal tablet whiteout screen I don’t know why ?

Can people PLEASEEEE show how the pen draws WITHOUT STABILIZER?? :( I draw without stabilizer and the line appearing Immediately is my No 1 most important issue.. showing it like this with a stabilizer tells us nothing about the lag!!!

​@@NemanjaSekulic it is very strange because with smaller huion tablet you don't have it. I use 12'' Huion Kamvas and it don't have so much input delay.

You have so much lag it makes my eyes cringe. Check your setup mate.
