There's something I like about seeing Billy get irate / stressed at the prospect of Hughie dying, man cares.

You would think that Billy Butcher is like Homelander - nothing can stop him from his goal and he doesn't care. But seeing him genuinely scared when Hughie came out with his wound and almost dying - shows that he is still (somewhat) human inside

Although it's funny and cute at the same time that he left Frenchie, MM, and Kimiko, just so he could help hughie.

These two are my favorite part in the series. It makes you hope that one day a Annie or Hughie will enter your life unexpectedly

I read somewhere that the creator of the comic book never actually planned them to get together. One day when he was writing, he was just so sick of everything Starlight was going through so he had her walk over to the park and sit down on the bench. And in his mind, the person he naturally envisioned being there was Hughie. Everything just clicked, which has to be one of the most organic story beats I've ever heard of.

Butch is like that father that supports his son trying to get this girl he likes, but doesn’t want her ruining his life. While Maeve is the mother that like’s embarrassing, and teasing her daughter in-front of her crush. It’s a really funny dynamic that is absolutely wonderful.

One of the most cutest superhero relationships ever ❤
