I really enjoyed watching their journey this season...it was interesting to see them go through some rough moments as a couple, but I was just as glad to see them sort of resolve things by the end. Looking forward to seeing where they go next in season four!!

You know someone is truly pure at heart when temptations or circumstances around them doesn't affect them or change them they same way that happens to most people. Hughie wasn't like soldier boy or Butcher despite all the time he spent with them helping them or having powers like most supes that start considering themselves to be above everything and everyone. Annie was surrounded by abusive people her entire life. It was long list that includes the deep, homelander and even her own mother. She rebuffed Vought s way to become a "hero" and she also rebuffed Victoria Neumans way to stop homelander. Those 2 a been through hell and back. So I hopeThey better survive by the end of the series.

@@dankcraft7386exactly. Their relationship isn’t forced. If it was forced, it’d happen out of nowhere. As you can see, it started with them meeting at the park unexpectedly. Neither knew about the other. Then it became coincidences and Hughie didn’t even know Annie was starlight (heck when he saw her in costume, he called her Annie, not starlight, showing Annie is number one over starlight). Then it became bonding moments with Hughie questioning things. He then encountered bumps and they both communicated. There’s no cheating, no backstabbing, no coercion, it’s literally a positive relationship.

I think coz in most of the shows I've watched, the female love interest is horribly written, particularly after season 2. Maybe that's why people throw the 'she aint good' or 'they killed her character' everywhere. She is like the one actual hero on the show, who doesn't even kill.

How is this show gonna end? With Homelander dying somehow and Starlight becoming the new idolized hero and marrying Hughes? Seems predictable, and this show has been anything but that, so I’m interested to see what’s next.
