i think butcher cares for hughie the same amount that walt cares for jesse, but we'll see if the ending is any different, cause walt was really "genuine" towards jesse for a bit in the earlier season before jane. but that's why i watch the boys for butcher and hughie. you honestly couldn't predict it, if you're right in the end, it's a lucky guess.

Yeah as useful as the money would he in this slave life we all have. It takes stronger character to stand above that chump change (may be a lot to us but it isnt much in the eyes of the elite) and stand for what's right and not being silenced for someone innocent dying.

I think a moment that really made this show stand out for me is how Butcher and Frenchie react to and handle things when they see that Hughie killed Translucent. Their not Congratulating him like FRAT Bros like "you just blew him up,fucking sick bro!" Or calling him a pussy for how he appears to be in shock after committing his first murder and being covered in guts. They legitimately see this dude is literally in Shock from having Committed a murder and they just go "hey man,let us handle the mess. Just relax and go clear your head."

MM tries to stop him so they fight and Butcher kills him. Butcher knows Frenchie and Kimiko will try to stop him to so he hides a bomb in their apartment and blows them up. Only Hughie is left who goes to stop Butcher and they fight both getting critically injured. Butcher knows hes lost but would rather die than goto prison, so he lies to Hughie and says he killex his family, pushing Hughie over edge and he kills Butcher.

@@ghostmemeboi After the defeat of Homelander and the supes, Butcher becomes hell bent on killing everyone with Compound V in their veins, which all supes and all the boys have in the comics. Butcher kills the Boys, save for Hughie who stops him. I think the show will have Butcher also try to kill everyone with V in them, but to do this he'll have to kill Hughie and Starlight who have V, and I think either Butcher kills MM, Frenchie, and The Female preemptively like in the comics, or they will learn about it and attempt to stop Butcher, which none of them can do.

@mysticdevils it ended with Honelander and all the supes killing the president, so Butcher and the military kill then all, black noir is revealed to be a homelander clone and behind all the fucked up things homelander did. Anyway they all fight to the death and butcher come out on top, then all of a sudden Butcher decides he needs to kill all supes including The Boys. So he kills MM, Frenchie and Kamiko for no reason at all and then Hughie kills butcher, the end. I don't think I need to explain why this is absolutely awful

One of the best show.

i kinda miss when they took down supes detective and strategic style. it was a lot more grounded and i particularly loved it when frenchie was using his chemist background cooking stuff up to break supes

It's a bit unfortunate that Hughie doesn't get to keep his powers, similar to Butcher his, but I guess the two of them would be unbelievably broken currently if they did... but who knows, considering Compound V was being tested on adults, it wouldn't surprise me if a strain of it comes out in the future that they can steal that would give them the power without any of the possible deathly side effects of long term use.
