He knows he is powerless. A bullet at point blank range does nothing and potentially could hurt himself because the bullet bounced off. On top of that he's at point blank range to her as well and would be wise not to upset her. Huey and Butch dodged a bullet from her because she fears not being perceived as normal. At her power level there's not much she couldn't do because anyone can be killed at a moments notice. Plus her attack is blood manipulation so there's no way she can miss if she is looking directly at you.

They are shocked because they didn't know her powers, they are confused because of her reaction to the assassination attempt. They were expecting her​ to get mad and kill them. Anyone else yes would have tried to kill them and many would have succeeded. They were all open with no backup plan. So her reaction caught them off guard. She is very self centred and self obsessed. ​@@RVIU11I disagree for now that she is too much because we still don't know if Marie was invulnerable to Homelander's lasers or he controlled his lasers because he wanted to keep Marie alive so we still have to wait to see and Starlight is also bulletproof but Homelander could still easily punch a hole through her.The only people who worry about her invulnerability are humans for now. I'm just hoping they clarify the power levels because that's always inconsistent with superhero shows and I think she knows that Homelander is way faster and could kill her easily because if she could easily pop Homelander, she wouldn't be trying her best to make the virus strong enough to kill him (although those are Butcher's words.)

What I don’t understand is she is apparently bullet proof (even when being ambushed with a shot to the back of the head) yet in Gen V she is able to cut her hand open with a knife to demonstrate her powers to Marie. One could make the argument that she had increased durability due to full control of her blood flow allowing her to shield herself from wounds or something but even if that were true, the show hasn’t stated that she has any kind of super strength so how she could break her own skin with a knife is beyond me. TLDR: in Gen V her skin can be cut with a knife, in The Boys shes bullet/acid proof

No normal gun kills supes who have invulnerability. I mean Annie took two 50 cal. Bullets to the chest and she walked it off. Depending on the power that's how invulnerable you are. For example why would kimiko need to tank bullets when she can regenerate? The powers adapt the body depending on what they do.

Acid. MM gathered Intel on her and thought her weakness was acid; he was wrong Most supes have a decent level of strength and durability. I was rly disappointed in the gang thinking this shit was gonna work when they've done much smarter shit Manipulation in her own and other people's blood. We find that out in Gen V after she talks with Marie (who has the same power). She can weaponise her own blood into sharp whips along with manipulating and reading blood in not only hers but others; hence the head popping
