@@Wow30035 well yes, and no..... there were some heavy twists and changes. Specifically for critical details. However that is the direction they are aiming for. I doubt they will ruin the happy end for them, but they will probably make more tension and drama though. I mean Hughie is sort of a clandestine asset in a "rogue" element now, and Starlight is still a super hero with the seven. They have factions working against each other.

Honestly, the scene with Hughie asking for tickets from Starlight was hard to watch. You can tell that Hughie doesn't want to go through with it but he has to so he goes through with it.

Whether in the comic or on the screen these two were too wholesome for the universe of the Boys. Especially when Starlight when through so much worse in the comics.

One reason why I love Starlight so much is she is not heartless mean and evil like the other heroes in The Boys she is nice and cares about people ❤

This is one of my favorite relationships and whatnot, but that first scene with Hughie quietly enjoying a sandwich and suddenly Annie started crying was honestly hilarious

A beautiful love story in the midst of the chaos of the boys

9:21 What i love about this scene is that is brilliant writing, on people and conflict, we start from Hughie's perspective and motivations but Annie has her own perpectives and motivation of the same situation. The brilliance (and i'm gonna assume some things) it's that they started writing the situations and events from Hughie's perspective and then switched by asking "how this would look like if Annie was the protagonist?", even though we might never see an "Annie POV" chapter, this technique makes her interactions in the scenes where she is the costar have MUCH MORE realism and impact. I never deeply thought about this like right now and blew my mind, going beyond fiction and being really illuminating in real life. I also think this is the basis of George Martin's writing (Fukumoto is also another person who does this in his own way).
