100g of sprung weight is practically nothing, so slight that it might have zero impact on setup because the potential minimum adjustments have more impact than the weight.

Had he not been awful last year, he wouldn't be the one getting screwed now.

The only person who "screwed" Sergeant was himself. I agree with those who say he does not deserve a seat in F1 at this time because his performane has been subpar. Until F1 bites the bullet and expands the field to 24 cars, there will continue to be a group of very talented drivers who deserve a promotion to the series, and thus put pressure on Logan.

"deserve" is not working in F1 junior programme if you sign with wrong junior team and wrong time. There's no one in line last year in Williams academy so Sergeant stays. Teams don't need to go out of their way and babysit Theo Pourchaire for Sauber just because he won F2. Blame Sauber for not placing him in F1 not other 9. (Weirdly F2 champions are often sign with wrong teams recently.) Williams has 2 driver in F2 this season, now this is the pressure you want.

Sargent screwed himself by not being good. He should be thanking Williams at least 4 times a day for not firing him after last season. He barely hung on to the job. He won't be there next year.

If Fast means reckless then yeah he ain't fast, give the guy some slack it's freaking annoying how everyone keeps dog piling on every rookie in the grid, if piastri joined alpine instead of mclaren even if the car is terrible it would just be he just isn't cut out for the big leagues as per your logic. The problem is, only the F1 media are making a big deal about Williams team decision. Sargent knows that he lost his car in the interest of getting the best team results.

Williams and Sake are falling further back behind, maybe Audi can bring life in to the team but Williams is like the Lada of car racing.

Logan isn't really good however, I feel Williams missed an opportunity to let Logan drive along and feel the pressure to make the most of it and learning from the experience. Just my opinion though

Imo Logan needs more time maybe towards mid season this year and if he isn't impressing then sackhim because yall do realize last year was his rookie season. I personally find it unfair because it was albon who crashed out and he gets logans car. Logan Sargeant has performed in F1 as well as Michael Andretti. Moving on as this story was over before it began.

When you look at the qual times spread between Verstappen and the last car on the grid, it's incredibly tight. Any one of these guys would absolutely destroy in any other series. Look at Grojean in Indy. He was immediately competitive… It's about the car. George Russell in his first drive with Mercedes was probably going to win, he was the fastest driver on the team but his car sucked at Williams... it's the same thing. Sargent deserves his ride, and Formula One is stacked against Americans.

Max debuting in F1 at the age of 16 with Torro Rosso….

Cars don’t belong to drivers So the team may maximize the results but the better driver in the better car. Logan is F1 driver not because he’s a good driver but because he is american

These teams shouldn't be allowed to rock up to a race without a spare chassis. It should be an FIA F1 requirement. If they no longer have the 3rd car requirement a single part to build and transport shouldn't be beyond them.

Oh for fuck sake, stop crying about Logan Sargeant. The only reason is there at all is because he's an American. Letting Alex drive was the smartest move Williams made this season. Of course they aren't wasting more time, money and energy in converting his old chassis back to his set up and will simply change Alex's repaired chassis to Logan's set up. He has to be incredibly happy and grateful he is in F1, because loads of drivers who are better than him are sitting at the sideline so he can drive at all.

Williams should never have brought Logan back in 2024. He is not a competitive driver.

I have to agree. Sergeant screwed himself. He’s not a very good Formula One driver. And he’s not improving. I think William made a very good decision.

Having Logan in a car actually keeps a talented driver out of the series. Truth hurts...but, it's Truth!
