That's the FORD who humiliated TATA back in 2000 and in 2010 the TATA could have done the same with them. But RATAN TATA he is a great man. Now FORD is all gone from INDIA. that's karma. Never show off be simple

I love how everyone in cologne smells so nice.

Its just amazing how much infrastructure is required to run a business like this. Just think of the costs of machinery, materials, labor, bills, taxes..etc. its almost a miracle that companies make a profit at all with all of this overhead.

As an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Tech, I am extremely disappointed in the fact that y'all made a FOURTY-FIVE MINUTE documentary about one of the world's largest manufacturing facilities and didn't say one thing about the Maintenance team that keeps it running. You know, the team that works ALL of the hours that NO ONE else wants to work, doing one of the top ten most dangerous jobs, performing the duties NO ONE else will or in many cases even can do.

Try earning a certificate at community college first and then start applying for trade jobs. Ford and many other companies want to see some sort of commitment/interest in technical work.

An interesting historical document. In ten years I wonder how many will work here.

I love how the scrap is saved and sold back to a steel producer to be used in other builds. We've become good at reducing waste in SOME areas of our planet.

I loved my 2013 Fiesta. It had everything I needed, yet the transmission and the TCM was the bane and weak link of my Ford freedom. Was in the shop more times than on the road. Then, the transmission finally imploded on the way to work, and I finally had it scrapped after having it for 5.5 yrs of Midwest mile madness of 4 season road wrah. Have I driven a Ford? YES! And I would never drive or own one again, even though I live in Ford country/Michigan

That was a wonderfully in-depth tour of a true mega factory. I know economies of scale mean that it costs the manufacturer less per unit when they maximise production, but Ford have invested so much money, and developed so much technology that they deserve what they get - you reap what you sow. Could you imagine making a car from scratch! Thank you.

i visited the plant in Daganam England and saw fiestas being made, it was an amazing experience, i saw everything from panels being stamped from sheet metal and the bodys being dipped and painted to engine assembly.

I visited the plant is Essex. Well, it was over 40 years ago. But then you could see real cars, thick steel, real engines, especially V6. Real art. Today it is just a producing of cheap plastic junk. As a lifetime Ford fan, I am sad to say this.

I feel bad for them, considering the quants family used slave labor from the concentration camp's where thousands died. Nice they could try and white wash the blood on their hands. God is the only one who inspires people through the redemptive blood of His Son.

I'm a lifelong ford owner who's had north of 20 fords and it hurts to say I'll probably leave the brand when I replace my current car (no plans to do so in the near future) as I will be forced to do so to get another V6, its gonna be sad leaving a brand I love to avoid a turbo engine.

That’s why these companies got in trouble to begin with 30-40 billion in debt a drop in sales and they can’t pay their bills. but it was hugely profitable when someone did some work around the place

I have always wanted to visit a car factory.

I think, one of the reasons to use robot in car manufacturing is timing. Because all workers work at a production line and have a given time to complete. If one employee become late to finish given duty, conveyor of cars can't move, thus other workers can't start to assemble parts to the next cars. One worker could delay 100 workers by being late for example. Timing is not an issue for robots...

Very much interested to see how the famous industry of a well known Hendry Fort make their cars. I think Fort vehicles are used in every part of the planet and they are very unigue in design. Very well documented and shooting from you guys. Keep it up.

The real Ford is over 20 years gone. Today it is just a plant for mass production of plastic crappy toys from cheapest material that will last for few years only, then scrap it and buy new. Just like every todays manufacturers, not only Ford.
