Top comparison. I'm certainly considering upgrading from 20 pro to 30 non-pro, primarily because the non-pro is smaller, lighter, but still brings the new camera, chipset etc I particularly like the ultra-wide. I really wish they gave OIS on the P30 main lens, but from what I've seen it doesn't make a huge difference, nor does the 1/3 stop faster lens.

I would say it would help with low light. But the difference is so small I can't even tell.

Has the P30 Ois at main lens? I think not...only at Telephoto lens. Another question is if you can see a red color at video and photos in general?

Does the Huawei P20 Pro destroy the P30 Pro for Monochrome, I know the P30 Pro has a Monochrome camera bit in it but thd P20 Pro has a dedicated Monochrome Sensor, is there a big difference for out of camera results or not, i only shoot monochrome.

I am thinking that P20 Pro is still a better sell... I mean bigger battery, cheaper, stereo sound + IP 67 vs IP 53 - that is a HUGE difference.

also if you watch again the video without sound you ll find out that in some cases p20 pro has better results. I had p20 pro and now p30 pro and in terms of photography they are very close. Ok there are improvements but not huge, mostly software tuning and night mode new technique(Except hyper zoom and optical stabilization)

P20 pro ( Big battery , stereo speakers, IP67 ) P30 ( better camera, 3.5 jack , design )

The change in color is probably due to the 1x main lens of the P30 is the same one as in the P30 Pro. Both have an innovative RYYB sensor which requires some more computing than an RGGB sensor. So deviations in color may occur.

Yeah you should be able to change your f stop in certain modes like portrait mode

I know you can change the f stop in certain picture modes. Like Aperature and Portrait mode. But not in video mode.

Huawei's don't have a good image post-processing. However, their hardware is really dope, 1/1.7 sensor size for manual mode shooting, if you are willing to do image processing work by yourself, can produce some amazing shots that match the quality of nokia lumia 1020 or 808 images. I heard P30 don't have OIS for their main lenses? How come?

The front camera is terrible in both phones tbh

This is a biased review. How come when p20 pro wins in some category you say that you can't see much difference. But when p30 wins in some aspect you never fail to recognize it. Lol next time do an honest review.

Dude. P30's main (40 megapixel) camera is the same camera as the P30 Pro. It is not some budget phone. It uses the latest technology from Huawei. It *is* better than the P20 Pro. Huawei specifically designed a camera with better colors (new camera color technology), better night photo mode, etc. It is NOT weird that Huawei's latest TOP camera model (used by both P30 and P30 Pro, remember) is BETTER than the old generation.
