I think he likes to be called a rocker because I heard this in a TV show, where a girl asked him if he sings rock and he answered "my songs are rock and roll".

Hua is a huge fan of stadium rock, he loves audience participation, if he wants the audience to participate he will write the part for them in advance. Love your enthusiasm . Hua was a mentor for the last 2 years for the boys. This year he's mentoring girls. He's a tough mentor and challenges them to go outside of the box as you can imagine. Hope you continue to react to many more of his performances.

I do my best to have him better known in France. Thank you for your enthusiasm for my little Chinese dragon ! I share it 100% with you ! Do you know Dimash Kudaïbergen and Hua Chenyu have now, since recently, the same producer in China, a woman, an original artist on her own : Shang Winjie - called Laure Shang in Occident. This song " ALIEN" He wrote abt himself n his attitude towards his music. When many out there cannot accept his style n music, started calling him names, he kept cool n replied with this song. Off stage he is quiet n humble, minding his own business (ie music)

I use the term rockstar because he embodies what a rockstar should be onstage and his is a good person off stage. Even if he only did slow ballads, I still use the term rockstar because his level of popularity is so high. He is what we want our stars to be. He is new style of music too and rock is only a part of what he does. He incorporates so many elements into his songs. All the other singers I react to do not do this. Also, the songs I am reacting too are his most requested or urgent request. They are not my choices..lol.. I have a very long list now for him that includes his non rock style songs too and I look forward to it.😊😊😊😊

On the Chiba part, I am so looking forward to one day that ppl see ppl as thinking and living humans who is equally capable of love and pain instead of an ideological other. No worries though Have u heard him do the duet w/Su Shiding calked “naping evening bell” Another is w/GEM (get everybody moving) singing “light year away” Hell I cud write a book on him He and Dimashi (who competed in the same competition but in 2017) r the top 2 greatest acts out there right now. Dimashi is a lot diff than Hua Chenyu but he is rated THE BEST IN THE WORLD for his technique and range. 6 octaves. Does the hugest whistle ever. Just listen to “SOS” “Opera2”. Hell any song and he just shocks u every time. Literally Def not rock though he does do sone M Jackson tributes. Whoops back 2 Hua Chenyu Have u heard him do “why nobody fights”. That’s the whole song right there. Just those 3 words. It effing works for some reason U need to listen to him do “Fake Monk”. Insane. Def an outside the box kind of guy. That’s a song he does in that competition U must listen to him do “child”. Almost brings tears 2 your eyes. Def not rock. He is a superb rapper. Loved what you said about Hua Chenyu as a true rocker! I really appreciate and understand when he said that rock music can best express one's strong emotions! He is masterful in commanding the stage and few people can do it so well! The original version of Aliens (this one here is a re-edited for this stage/show) is also great! Just to comment on your comments on this song's lyrics. What Hua tried to express is that everyone should be themselves, be responsible for themselves, not to be manipulated by anyone (could be from any where :-0). This could be used by anyone to many circumstances, but from him, this is more about self awareness, and insist on your own route of being yourself.....

Really envy to those who got the ticket... second-day concert ticket sold out in 5second yesterday, I can't imagine how excited those who able to grab a ticket...

😅nothing to do with gov, is about breaking the rules and revolution in existing China music market (which unique music maybe hard to survive). He is a good kid but weird kid too. He had a unhappy childhood due to his parent divorce. Ever since, he is very very very focus in music and revolution rather than commercial, which is not easy, however he did it. He had participated many singing competition or music show to encourage unique and different music. He sing a lot good song from online musician to promote them. He (and many other singer) been trying hard to focus in music making rather than follow investor preference. They are real musician. (thus u can find many of his unique music, like Fake monk, why no body fight, dad I'm home, Nunchuck, cancer, Bullfighting... It is like a voice to against existing music market which over liaise in commercial and lack of revolution) I love him too. Thanks for your support. (his interests are music + meat, he is quite a music nerd actually😅)

You're right about the government "monitors" and HuaHua. His song "I don'tCare' was a wry response to one of performances that was censored. They can sing whatever they want except for overturning the government. But to critique is totally ok and alright.
