HR and coworkers are NOT your friends. Stop talking and giggling with them. Make money, not friends.

Nobody in the workplace is your friend. Always remember that. Especially anybody above you on the food chain. And definitely management. We would all like to think that they're all buddies and that we're all friends etc. etc. But I have been around long enough to know that that is not true. I have seen people stabbed in the back and I have been stabbed in the back. It is terrible. So I'm not saying don't make friends at work, but I'm saying just remember the environment. Have acquaintances, but find your true friends somewhere else.

they are not your friends! Work is for making money, not friends

They are like police “hey I’m your friend, tell me what happened?” Then they use anything you say to set you up and twist your words while protecting their own and the real bad guys. Great advice and true. Because I documented things and kept my conversations with HR to a minimum, I was able to sue and get them to settle out of court.

I always say, if HR is your friend. Who signs their checks?

Remember you cannot spell wHoRe without HR! I hate HR professionals because they have done nothing but ruining the careers are other good professionals like myself. HR professionals get mad at me for publicizing their bad behavior. In one case, an HR head participated in wage theft. That HR head got angry when I recorded his conversation and broadcasted it on KZread. That HR head was fired after the state of CA made them pay a wage claim.

My HR doesn’t sympathize when you have been treated bad from a supervisor and report. They cant even pretend to care. They turn the tables on you in your face and tell you you are the one at fault. No investigation just defends the aggressor supervisor so the sup keeps on doing what they are doing to the employees. A lot of employees are upset at HR because of this. They are really mad. Everything is so disorganized since new HR arrived. If corporate only new their HR is not really protecting the company. LOL!

Most of them were bullies in high school and couldn’t wait to get a position of authority to bully people more.

I needed to hear this so badly. Thank God I've been documenting since day one because I'm older and this isn't my first rodeo. I am 100% targeted at work. It's causing emotional distress due to retaliation, unequal treatment, HIPPA violations, harassment and the list goes on. It's only been since Oct and I've been through hell. I did manage to get one person fired who was targeting me but now I'm the target because of him being fired. It's so toxic. Should I ask for a payout? Or file suit? They know I'm documenting.

I was hired on at my job being told it’s in the office, but I can work from home if I need to & they will be flexible with my schedule. I work in marketing & we have multiple locations so I’m frequently moving between locations & taking work equipment home. I told them from the beginning I have frequent doctors appointments, etc. As soon my boss leaves, we get a part time consultant to help our department. No direction on what to do with no boss. I was sick 3 days & told my team I wouldnt be there. HR sends me disciplinary-esq email about how working from home is prohibited, and I need to send all schedule changes & absences to HR and not the consultant because she’s “part time” 😂 how am I supposed to know that??? And I was literally told the opposite from the beginning of being hired it and it’s part of the reason I took on this job 4 months ago. On top of the dumpster fire of other issues this company has, I have decided it’s time to look for a new job.

I got threatened by a black woman at work. I called HR 3 times and 2 of them hung up on me. They especially never take men serious when it pertains to a woman of color harassing you. It felt good to call back and cuss them out, i needed to get that off my chest lol.

I am going thru this now and just laid off because I went to HR on my manager

I lost my job 6 months ago ( October 2023 ) through a entertainment establishment by the Head of HR. After my termination; HR never called me to see how am I doing. HR never reached out and gave hard copy resources to look for a new job. I had to look for another job on my own without any help. You are absolutely right; HR doesn't exist to protect you as a employee. HR protects the company's interests. HR doesn't look out for you. In the future; I will look out for myself in the workplace by knowing the rules and regulations of the company I choose to work for. I don't make friends at work; instead I do my job, get my legit 🤑💰money and go home. Coworkers are not your friends. Managers are not your friends. HR is not your friends. Excellent video 😁📸
