Good vid Sean, the rubberish piece on the cam of the Hoyt isn’t about speed, it’s for the cam to sit on it when using a bow stand.. my alpha x33 is on the way!

whats with the sound being clipped on the shot on the bows?

As I mentioned in the video, the echo and reverb was so bad in the footage that I put a filter on the audio to try to make it more manageable. A side effect was dampening of the sound at the shot

The audio without hearing the bow go off is so bizarre…great vids as always regardless though sean❤

Yeah the filter I had to put on to dampen all the reverb from the room silenced the bow and target noise.

PSE has the same feel at the back a hump thing

No, I would not say it is a dramatic improvement. They are all nice bows though.

sean you hit it in the head with the Mathew’s ibo rating….. these two bows are amazing and speeds are basically the same. Nice review

Hoyt says the nub on the cam is for there bipod legs. To set the bow down on the ground and the cam not be in the dirt.

The cams would be unbalanced if the nub wasn’t on both cams.

Right, so it is a balance detail moreso than a kickstand otherwise the top wouldn't need it if balance was not related to it. When they looked at it, they were probably like, how do we sell people on this? Ummm, how about we tell them it is to keep the string out of the dirt? Sounds good, lets roll with that. I've been in some really sloppy 3D shoots where that would not keep the string out of the mud if you stood your bow up. Anyway, I'm just saying it certainly looks like the function has more to do with speed and balance than in resting the bow on when it is not in use.
