34:15 PSG won against Renne with 1-0. So only barely. And the reason that Messi didn't win both Coup de Frances is because Xavi Simons missed the penalty in the final shout-out the first go-around and the second time Messi was stuck with Neymar. Both times he didn't have Mbappe. The second go around, the knock-out 2-1 loss was against Marseille. And guess what, when Neymar was finally out and Messi played Marseille with Mbappe just a couple weeks later......PSG won 3-0. So Messi always gets dealt a trash hand and has to make due with that while carrying Argentina at the same time. That's why the Coup de France stat has no impact in the real world, that's why PSG advancing in the Coup de France doesn't comfort me at all that Mbappe has the team to blow away Barca in the UCL right now. I'm worried.

8:08 - 8:25 In my opinion, it's great for Mbappe that Neymar is gone. Neymar became so toxic and he degressed in ability way too much. It's a HUGE setback for Mbappe that he lost Messi. Last season twice there were reports that Mbappe wanted Messi to stay. Mbappe wanted the project to focus on himself and Messi was the perfect partner for him to have that. Messi was laser-focused on finding Mbappe on the pitch and it showed with his 11 assists in one season to Mbappe. As long as Messi was in Paris, to him Mbappe was all that mattered. This season when PSG faced the group of death in the UCL, Mbappe was extremely disappointed with PSG's performance. He felt that PSG could've easily landed the no. 1 spot in the group had they kept giving it their all instead of just securring the no.2 spot. Not only would Messi have given Mbappe that full energy against Dortmund.......they would've knocked the entire group out of the park. No one in the "group of death" was anywhere near Bayern Munich level of performance. Mbappe and Messi were so perfectly gelling together last season, that in this season without interference of something like a World Cup tournament, I believe Mbappe would've done record-breaking numbers through Messi. A constant repeat of the Lille-Marseille-Nantes run we had in 2022/23.

I don’t wanna offend this man, he seems nice and objective on almost anything, but calling Barca vs. PSG a rivalry is really wrong. It’s really a one sided rivalry with Barcelona living rent free in the heads of PSG fans
