Not at all. Are you living in a cave? IronGate devs are enemies of mod community. They do anything to sabotage mods. Several of their minor updates intent to break mods only. They also released open letters threatening mod community. Is more like they would do anything to sabotage this videos project.

@@BabiIak I have no idea where you got the idea that irongate is anti mod. They do not have active mod support yet because the game isn't finished, and they don't want to add official developer tool mod support yet so they can ensure they get correct development data from players until the game is finished. They have not released updates just to "break mods" and the only open letter regarding mods they've ever released is a statement declaring that they do not support mods that are locked behind a paywall to access, and I agree with them in that regard. When it comes to mods in general, irongate has never done anything antagonistic towards their game's modding community at all. So where are you getting your information from?

I wish I could do some kind of adventure on your map, look at everything, I love Valheim. For me, Veaheim is one of the best games in the last few decades. After Ark, Valheim is the ultimate something

as soon as i saw the thieves guild i jumped out of my chair and was like: THAT'S FROM SKYRIM! awesome builds btw, absolutely insane

The video production of this was as phenomenal as the builds themselves. Awesome work, can't wait to try the map!

I like sailing so much, I wish there was a mod or update with like balistas on ships and naval battles + more sea monsters

THIS is what Valheim should have been. Maybe not to this level, but better usage of the building sytem for more interesting POIs and a more RPG-like experience with more story elements. But this is truly brilliant! I will definitely be trying this out in the near future.

I would have to disagree. Valheim is about building creative yourself, not finding exotic pre built locations and move in.

@Boris82 It could've remained a sandbox game while having pre-built locations. A lot of people couldn't care less about building, but still like all the other aspects of sandboxes, so you could appease both parties with this approach.

I love Valheim as is, and I do like building, but the world is massive and would have just been nice if they'd used their robust building system to create some more interesting pre-built locations to find and search to fill up some of the huge map. And they definitely could have made the boss locations a lot more involved.

This was an incredible video and looks to be an exemplary example of a passion project. I dont even own Valhiem and I am hyped.

I'd expect even the game dev's of valheim to be blown away with this project

I have never played Valheim. Nor do I own the game. Just these videos are already insane. I have seen all kinds of people build structures in Valheim. A short video like this just blows me away. There is one sad reality. That I just crossed the boundary of understanding what an undertaking it is you did here. How much work it is. How much time and effort you have put in this. I know that probably has to do with the current attention span. But you deserve credit. Amazing show on display!

This feels like an epic punch in the inspiration for every builder I know - thank you for pushing yourselves to get there and explaining how it felt. I know how easy it can be to get discouraged - I feel that half way point on my own builds but seeing what can be created with collaborators who are willing to take risks and rethink things time and again? Daymn. That's some life lesson, galaxy brain, quality. Seeing so many of these techniques I know (and ones I don't) being bought to life with such depth and scope is *chefs kiss*. Iron Gate Studio should give you all early access to the Ashlands so you can incorporate it. They also should just hire you lot to make this an official game mode for Valheim.

a 'Story Mode' could be fun! I've heard a few whisperings of what is coming in Ashlands so we already have some ideas brewing and I'll probably jump onto the test branch when it releases to get a little head start on some builds :)
