Is it a complicated as Gportal? Because I been wanting to host my own server for years now and I’m just a mere simpleton when it comes to data~files so, An Gportal was a bit confusing, even after watching a bunch of “how to” videos, I still couldn’t figure it out. What’s crazy my friends won’t even help me, they’re answers are always, “idk, maybe you should watch a KZread video”… Bruh, what?! Mfs know this sht and they give me a soft “No” to my plea for aid?! 🤣

This biome makes Mistlands look like a walk in the park. Looks to be a very hostile place as expected. Placing the bar really high for the Deep North. No pressure Iron Gate ;)

So I have been finding out some mistakes/things I got wrong and want to highlight them, plus some things have been revised in the PTB. Like this up to the top! 1. Morgens spawn in Putrid holes (my server must have been bugged as this never happened for me but have since confirmed to be true) 2. Bonemaw Serpents do not drop scales 3. ASK Armor has received a great set bonus 4. Embla Set now gives MORE eitr regeneration Comment below if I got anything else wrong/missed anything!

The caves them selves server as Troll Dens, but unlike Troll Dens. Morgens dont spawn in them right away they emerge out of the ground after a few seconds. They make it seem like a safe haven at first, but after a couple seconds the Morgen emerages and crushes that hope for safety

@@arminlutz8294 Omg. my partner and I laugh at this now. She started a little before me and when I joined, whenever we saw a pine tree, she would yell, "RUN!". Much later the swamp kicked our butts, now I go there for a stroll to gather bloodbags. I even have a nice home there. So this happens with each biome, Terror at first and then later, *yawn*. Kinda like life.

@@SpazzyjonesGaming I still remember the first time I used the atgeir, being a fan of polearms in other games too . I love this thing!! I know someone that was just using it for gardening 🤣 The dual wield axes might be nice but I like knife + shield a lot for parry + backstab bonuses. Also bummed that the light armor set has no bonuses yet. I hope they make some tweaks.

I didn't think leviathans ever respawned. That was my understanding. I could be wrong though. However they did patch the amount of time you have to mine them before they submerge

Yes but only one item improves over existing items and that is the Lava Lamp! No other item allows you to increase your max comfort beyond what is possible with mistlands tier furniture

Ashland has to be nerfed during fight u get stuck on ledges multiple times if one thing spawns then vulture and much more spawn and book ur dead there is 2 star mob I guess with a sword I tied to parry but he gave me a damage of 200 that's insane man it needs to be nerfed that's too much

It is SO dangerous compared to any of the other biomes. Combat draws the attention of more enemies constantly and the respawn time is ludicrously fast and having to carry; Full gear, Stamina & Health Meads, Fire Resist Wine, 2 Stacks of Arrows I can't keep up with materials/gathering and am running in circles constantly returning to my basecamp to empty my pockets only to have to fight through masses to get to where I had to leave materials on the ground and repeat the process.

Im a solo player and o find it realllly tough. But then again i thought mistlands was pretty tough too because i couldnt see anything. Im happier with ashlands than i was with mist though. I feel like the devs went in the wrong direction with mistlands, because i liked their early concept art better. It was more like a creepy magical misty meadows

Im actually kinda disappointed in those minerals in lava lakes. They are cool, like really cool, but why they need to just disappear, yeah yeah greed test, but it would be cool if damaged flame metal node would rise once more and can be mined for some time, you still won't grab everything due to inventory capacity, but at least it would be less frustrating as like hit it 2 times and it's gone

I can appreciate that. I know with the leviathan when you log out and log back in that stops the timer of the leviathan despawning. This may also work for the flametal desposits

But when you talk about the workers of multiple hotels, you might say "staffs". When you're talking about plural "staff" in music, or magic sticks in this case, you'd say "staves" (pronunciation: stay:vz)

You might be right. Weird thing is that its a item that exists (i spawned it using devcommands) but maybe its not currently active. I included it because of its existance and just assumed I was getting unlucky not having it drop or something. Regardless, thanks for putting this out! I expect there to be a couple mistakes in here as I compiled it pretty quickly and in isolation.

Nope. Fiddleheads cant be planted. But they can obtained in high enough quantities; and the Vineberry Clusters. ONly requirement is its grown against a wall. BUt you can grow them in the Meadows

Im not 100% sure but it definitely does seem like the case. In my experience the 3 mysterious locations spread across the entire ashlands biome so I doubt there are more than 3 to find. However, perhaps if I were playing with more players they would drop more of the fragments but I honestly do doubt it

You can use a command called 'god' to make yourself invincible. It's a VERY hard biome. No way I could have got the footage for the video as quick as this if I could die hahaha

Thats fair mike. There are world modifiers where you can turn down the difficult. I recommend giving those a try. This biome will be VERY hard based on what I have seen

So what if you cheat, or use dev commands? The game has world settings where you can make all enemies passive, have zero cost for all buildings, and change what you drop on death. You can spawn in a sword or hammer that kills shit on one hit. Fuck it. No law against it, have fun however you like, and enjoy the new content.

@@LNDF_Shiv thanks for that, I always feel a tad guilty when I enable devcommands but like you said it is important to enjoy the game. Without those cheats the game would be a horrible time sinking grind. spend an hour sailing back down when I can instantly type goto 2500 -8400 (or whatever my POS was at time of demise) and boom, back at it without delay. appreciate your comment probably more than you intended but I honestly needed to hear it.
