How to Write the Electron Configuration for an Element in Each Block

I'll go over how to write the electron configuration both the full electron configuration and condensed/abbreviated noble gas electron configuration. Plus I'll include an example from each block, s block, p block, d block, and the f block! This should help you get ready on your next quiz or test on electron configuration.

I'm a very practical person. I find videos like these just as effective as my hour period in chemistry class. I wish they didn't count attendance so I could save time doing something else during those long periods of classes and then just watch these short videos that teach me everything that was taught in class that day, but in a simple and more effective method. God bless you!!

Okay so I’m confused at 6:11... Why would it be 4f^14 if there are 15 elements in the f block. Other than this I completely understood this way more than I did in 2 hours of my class at school. Great video and can’t wait to come back to your channel when I don’t understand something! 💛

because one f subshell can hold 14 electrons so you cant account for the 15th i think but this comment was 3 yrs ago so i dont think youre looking for an answer anymore

RubiMercuri Because the vertical rows are numbered, so all you have to do is count after you know which row you’re in. Also it really helps if you remember the letters as well. Good luck 🍀 hun!
