Today we'll talk about how to come up with plot premises that work with your hook. We'll talk about the difference between a hook-driven cozy and a hook-flavored cozy, and why you might want to choose one over the other.

    Oh, Jane - thank you for these. I've had an idea for a story scribbled in a notebook for weeks, but after watching your first two videos in this series, I actually went into a Google doc and made hardcore plot notes. You might reform this pantser yet!

    Thank you for this! I've got an idea for a Cozy mystery and have managed to come up with a unique hook and at least seven titles for it, but figuring out the plots for each of them has been a struggle. Your technique is simple but amazing! I'm going to start doing this right away and hopefully I'll have the first (and possibly second) book ready for early next year!!

    I know comments help channels. So here is my comment for this episode. Pretty sure due to the Atom Punk 1950s setting it is more hook driven but can also be switched to a more hook flavor if needed.

    My Vampire game is set in the city of Miami, in modern times. The Vampire Prince has been destroyed. The Vampire players work for the Prince and they were ruled. The players will have the options of ignoring the murder, trying to solve the murder, or trying to cover-up the murder. There will be other vampires in the city that will push them to make each decision.
