IT will support the antenna in the x556 laptop. 2- The screw on top of the Mini PCI card is extremely tight so if it strips, just use a rotary tool to make a flat cut into the screw and then use a 3MM flat head screw driver to untighten it. Thats it and Bob is your uncle. I have done 5 laptops of the same models and 3 had stripped screws. hence speaking from experience.

You cant up to 5ghz, as there is only 1 black wire 5ghz will come with black and white wire
As I can see you are using the m.2 port, but it looks like it has a pcie connection on the other side, am I right?

Yes, you can install any wifi module, and if it will be card with two antenna, you will need add one antenna
