I used a large pitcher with a removable lid and a kitchen scale🤣 it was comical

I feel so dumb right now. I always use a big bowl with a paper towel or small blanket or something with a treat but a plush cube like that or something would be so much easier! They always try to escape and it takes forever to get a stable number because they move so much.

I’ll be honest I have to be quick with some of the babies but it is much easier than when I used to use a bowl. I got the tip off Lovecraft rats

@@IsamuRatCare I'm absolutely doing this now. Those babies are a pain and the adult mice are even worse! You're a godsend.

That is a GREAT and easy Tip! I have the scale, and they always try and scurry off...so its hard to get a consistent weight where their tails are not touching something. THANKS!!!

We have a box with a hole cut out of the front. The rats always go in and turn around into the same pose lol.

Does anyone have a link to good Aspen bedding? I can't find large flake/low dust aspen
