Silly question but any suggestion or experience on how to wash sweat stains on hats that doesn’t fade the fabrics color? My husband hats get “destroyed” (his opinion) after he sweats so much a sweat band appears on the cap. I’ve tried washing them before the sweat stain alters the color of the fabric but it still appears faded..

Thanks for sharing. Should the caps be washed only with other caps or is it safe to add additional laundry items?

You could put in something very light but for the most part, just do a small load of hats. Less chance of crushing them.

Would that break the hood structure of the cap?

I’ve not had any problems with this. Stuffing the hat with towels prior to drying helps preserve the structure.

It's so it's easy to filter them and binge watch them 😊 For example, I'm very interested in your specific series, Laundry Lab, and Prepping for beginners. Hi D, I’ve been implementing your suggestion. I went back and put the hashtag #inthelaundrylab in the last few Shorts and adding better hashtags. I’m so sorry I didn’t think to do this sooner. I’ll also put in some playlists with the Laundry Lab shorts. I’ll go back and pick up the Prepping videos and put in the appropriate hashtags. Thank you so much for making this suggestion.

Hi Sandra, it’s Dirty Labs laundry detergent. The pretreatment was with Dawn Dish Soap.

but how do you do this without making the visor all flimsy??

I think putting it on the lightest spin setting is what prevents it from getting flimsy. I imagine not putting much else in the washer with it will also make the brim hold up better. Hope that helps!

Don’t put a lot of other things in the machine with it. Just a few hats. Then spread them out flat like I showed.

I’ve not had any trouble with this. Stuffing the hat with towels or newspaper helps to preserve the shape.

It’s made to go in the wash so you get every little bit out of the cup. It’s silicone so it does fine.
