Hi Mel. So I wanted to tell you this weekend I went to a wedding and decided to be brave and wear my hair curly. In preparation I watched your videos on how to wash and apply products. My hair turned out beautiful.. I got tons of compliments. Thank you for inspiring me to wear my hair natural and not default to straightening it. You are the best.

I ran into this lady who had curly hair as curly as yours, who told me about taking care of curly hair. I used to have curly hair like yours when I was younger, but gradually through torment and a love hate relationship I can honestly say I've destroyed my hair. I've learned so much in the last couple videos of yours about your hair routine, than I have ever learned from the endless amount of hair salons I've been to over the years. I hope by following these that I get the life and curl back in my hair because you've inspired me to tackle it! You're so fun to watch and make me laugh and smile. (The deep tissue scalp message ended me haha!) Thank you for sharing this!

I am so glad that I found your channel. I was giving up on my natural hair journey (i.e., growth), but your knowledge base and delivery motivated me to keep going. Also thank you for the tip on the scalp exfoliating brush. It was delivered to my house this evening. MELL!!!!! This thing is a game changer. I stopped using bristle brushes, because it would get tangled in my 3c hair. Not the exfoliating brush! Thank you again!

OMG the blooper reel! I am one of those people that looks forward to washing their hair, but I also have wavy hair that doesn't tangle nearly as bad, and dries "relatively quickly." And yes, I got one of those silicone scrubby brushes and I am never going back!

Oh my God you’re hilarious! I discovered you today after needing to trim my own hair & then trimmed my hair & my 6 year old daughters hair too. I’ve just spent the whole evening watching a load more of your videos whilst my husband watches car shows on TV. After watching your amazon top pics I’ve just spent £100 on brushes & products. Now finally learning that the reason my hair is often frizzy is cause I never knew how to do my hair properly so coming to youtube I am glad to have found your channel cause your way of doing things seems like a good way to go about it. I'm only about 2 months into this as well. Didn't straighten but didn't know how badly I want taking care of my curls all these years. The, bonnet, the pillowcase, the right ponytail holders, squish to condish, diffusing, scrunch the cast... I feel like I'm learning a new language, LOL! MELL IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND MAKES IT FUN AS WELL. Just gotta hone our products and skills and not get frustrated cuz it takes time and more time. 😊😊😊

We love a clean scalp queen 🙌 🙌 You have helped my hair so much since I started watching you. I started switching off on my wash days and using Maui moisture one week and the next week a sulfate shampoo and it has revitalized my waves and brought them back to life! Keep it up with the wonderful videos!! P.s. not sure if you have done this but do a video on too much product vs not enough product and how both can seriously put a damper on curls
