This video saved my life!! I always assumed my hair could never be defined and frizz-free. I tried this and it changed my life forever. It did take a looooooong time, BUT SO WORTH IT. Thank you a million times! My new favorite channel.

Graying 2c/3a old lady here and have white around my face that seems it has lost any will to live. I’m going to try this in those areas and 🤞🏻. You’re an amazing inspiration. I find myself jumping up and trying your techniques as soon as I watch. Thank you!

The thing is the virgin hair growing out might be or might not be curly and if it is not you can't curl hair that is not curly. I decided to grow silver and am unsure what it will be myself

I discovered this technique for my curls over 20 years ago. It also looks good when you do it in larger sections when wet, and when dry you run your fingers through to create an amazing curled wave that didn't require any heat.

Wash day is tomorrow and I CANNOT WAIT TO TRY THIS! I've spent my entire life running from my curls, but tomorrow, I'm spending my whole ass day in the bathroom until this mission is accomplished!

me, 12:45 am post-shower: randomly decides to look up how to make my curly hair curlier me, after clicking on vid: 😍

I tried this technique for the first time yesterday and my hair looked amazing but it took awhile and my arms got tired 😂😂 hopefully I’ll get faster!

Mel! Thanks so much for this video! I've been doing the CGM for a while but learning on what products to put in my hair was so important. Idk I was supposed to be putting in leave in conditioner! 😭 But now that I know the proper way to style my hair thanks to your videos I also now have fingered coiled/twist my hair for well defined curls and OMG! My curls have never looked better. I have 3b, thick, coarse, curls so it take me at least 45 mins to twist my whole head but the results so are so worth it! Also, I'm trying to grow out my hair to donate it. Thanks again for helping curly girls like me look the best we can with embracing our curls 💕💕 From one Mel to another 🤗

I think this explains why I have more defined curls in the front of my hair I tried finger coiling but every time I do it I usually stop mid-way. I used to think my hair was heat damaged yet I only straightened my hair a couple times my whole life and it's not colored.I will definitely try my whole head next time I'm styling my hair. hi! I am watching this, then I am going to rewatch while styling my hair. I am ashamed for neglecting it so horribly. Like I shaved it off like 8 years ago and now its to my hips, and its a frizzy mess of neglect. I will make the time for it! I definitly will care for my hair, and not just do absolutely nothing with it thank you.

LOL @ when you finish and sigh because you are tired. That's literally me every single time I style my curls. Most of the time I'm not as patient as you but when I am and I finish styling, that is my exact expression! I thought I was the only one who got that tired!

I have a 2A/2B wave that I discovered thanks to your video with your cousins. I had an appointment with my stylist today and she was tickled by my wabes. She has a similar texture to mine and she taught me to twist my hair like this too. Except not as extensive because my wave is a lot looser.
