It's been 11 years and I'm learning from it to design a logo and make hoodies for a local little league team and their parents 😅 Very helpful! This effect is exactly what I was looking for and I played around with arc and arch and couldn't get it to look how I wanted (straight at the top, warped up on the bottom).

Thx for this tutorial! In my typography class we have to make up a team logo and this gave me a few more ideas. The only problem what when you stretched the text to make it taller...I personally have to beef with that but my instructor has it dead set in his head that doing that is an unforgivable sin. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial it was very helpful.

Also, if I may, you can also decrease or increase the spaces between the letters by fiddling with the 'tracking', this is a better method I believe, because it will save time, and all of the text will be affected equally - no human error nonsence. The 'tracking dial' is found in the 'Paragraph' window, which is in WINDOW>TYPE>PARAGRAPH.

Hi Mike, I am a beginner and I really like your videos. Can you do a tutorial on how to do text around a circle? or shape? I figured out how to do it around a circle if the text goes all the way around (which makes the text upside down at the bottom). I'd like to know how to make it so the text is upright on the bottom of the circle as well as uprignt on the top of to circle. I am trying to create a logo stamp type thing. Thanks a million! :D Love it when you upload new videos... :D
