Even visualizing this is scary! But, will definitely give a try, But working in 9-5 makes it difficult. 1-1-1 journaling method has been a game changer for me.

Surprisingly less scary than you think. I had this routine even when I was working my 7-7 finance job.

So Sahil, I live with my parents and dinner isn’t served until 9, 10pm. At least 2-3hours before bed? I sleep at 2 and wake up at 8. There’s got to be some way to work this out? Maybe this is an answer itself
I agree. But do you ever feel like working out first thing kind of takes the wind out of your sails for getting work done? (interrupting that 5-8am work window) I really enjoy working out at 5am. But when I put that first, I'm not really diving into any work until 6:30+ and then the wife and kid are waking up, I'm a bit less fresh and focused from a hard workout, etc. I realize either work, just wondered if you prioritize one over the other.

Yep, I only work out after 3 hours of focus work.

@@Sahil_Bloom I was wondering this too. After working out + steam room, I just want to eat and read articles instead of diving into focused work. Matt, thanks for asking this! Hope you're able to effectively adapt too.

@@RahulKahani_ Same to you! It's a shame we have to choose between the two, haha. But I think I'll start move that work window before working out more often than before.
3rd one is missing in my morning routine but the 5th one seems impossible at the moment as a college student, I don't know how you have figure out , sahil?

Don’t sacrifice sleep too much. You can get away with it when you’re younger though.
Can you recommend some light fiction that can be read before going to sleep?

Can we get a "WHY wake up early: 5 science-based reasons"? If I can be productive at night, go to bed at midnight and wake up at 7:30am, is changing my schedule to wake up earlier better?

If you are crushing it with your current schedule, there's no need to change anything!

Yeah ours just hit 14 months. Eventually they get on a good sleep cycle and you're able to get back to some normalcy. The beginning is tough though, you just have to get through it.

My daughter is also 14 months old. 😅 She sleeps with us and as soon as she feels me getting up, she immediately wakes up. I know, patience is key.
