    Great information! I probably will not hatch eggs but watching this video I did learn something new! I have never turned the suction cups when installing them on an item! 🤔 what a simple yet great thing to know! Thanks Dean!

    Looks like a great product. Well constructed. I know Cory is always thinking can I make this better? I say yes. Dividers, the average fish keeper might only need one of these, but the average hobbyists might need several. I think an insert that divides into 1/3s or 1/4s would be nice.

    I liked the video... think it helped to see how one works (since I’ve never even seen one in person much less used one)... but I’m curious... I know that you can use them on Pleco eggs but that’s about it... what other species eggs can it be used with? Is there a maximum number of eggs (or volume of eggs) that it can be used with at 1 time? Also, if one of the eggs sticks to the bottle, do you open it back and get it free floating? Would it even be safe to do that?.... I’m loving these product introduction videos btw, keep em coming. :)

    How do u get the eggs out of the terra-cotta cones? Are the eggs sticky or not? Have 7 L129 false zebras I’m trying to breed soo yea don’t know yet if the eggs stick inside the cone.. which would make me wonder how to get them into the ziss which I have

    Hi Dean, I have a question about tumbling L046 eggs… do I need to separate the eggs from each other? I currently have 2 juvenile shrimp in the tumbler with a clump of 11 eggs. I’ve only ever used the tumbler once before for these fish, I did separate the eggs from each other but still lost most to fungus

    I have some many thoughts right now. At one point I had 25-35 homemade tumblers going. Anything from a old box filter to so filter lift tubes with screen glued on the bottom.

    I'm wanting to hatch shrimp but I.im worried about to much salty water going into my tropical fish tank can I hatch them in fresh water? Or will this unit work not being totally under water? How can I get around this problem? Thanks

    These aren’t much different than the ones sold on eBay. Works in a different way but accomplishes the same thing. They both work great! Ziss is always way overpriced though. The cheaper egg tumbler sold on Amazon and eBay works just fine! I have both and have hatched thousands in both of them.

    I need advice. I’m trying to breed Rainbow Shiners. Had 100 eggs in tumbler, 20 hatched, now down to 2-5. 10 days old. Just tails. When do I transfer to a grow-out tank and feed BBS? Any help would be great.

    Better way to raise rainbow fish without using a tumbler. They start eating when they become free swimming.

    The thing is not how to use the device but how you remove the eggs (angels fish for e.g.) which sticks hard to the surface they are on. How to move them without damage to the tumbler?

    That screen won't stop fry from gettn out my bristle nose would occasionally swim through But it is a great product 👍👍

    Not even remotely true! I breed Bristlenose by the thousands and I use the ziss egg tumblers, never has one baby ever escaped through the screen! They are way to big even when they first hatch! The person who commented and the others who gave thumbs up to his comment clearly have never hatched Bristlenose in a ziss egg tumbler!

    @@mjh00124o the screen in the ziss egg tumblers are all the same! Theirs not a Pleco species that exists that’s small enough as a hatchling to fit through the screen! Not even close! Your clearly are either making things up or you have never used a ziss egg tumbler and are talking about another type of egg tumbler! Those are the only options! The good thing is, the people who really have used the ziss egg tumbler will see that you are so very wrong and making things up! You got called out. Except it!

    I’ve never even once seen a ziss air valve that doesn’t work! They are the Ferrari of plastic air valves! If it’s broken, you’d be able to visibly see that it’s broken! Otherwise it’s user error!

    There is often a little plastic burr. Remove the black handle piece entirely and then make sure the edge is clean. The ziss ones do work, but there are defect rates of course. If you have issues, get a brass one or stainless one.
