    Thank you for that video! Would you rather recommend using the "classic" aluminum version with an induction plate in-between instead of this version to even out the on-off heating & brewing? Because this definitely sounds a little stressful, I don't wanna sit 4 minutes next to my pot checking everything goes alright.

    NO - tbh those induction plates are not a good choice. OK if you're stuck - though I wouldn't buy it along with a non-induction brewer. It's an unfortunate thing of Induction cookers that's unavoidable. I have ceramic at home - IF I had induction - I'd probably brew with something like an AeroPress or Flair Espresso Maker instead.

    I am glad I watched this because it looks quite messy compared to a regular shaped moka pot.

    Not really - though you can purchase a single cup one that ;looks similar. Or you could block a single hole I guess. There's no other way I know how.

    Do you know what could be the reason that for mine the coffee doesn’t come out the same into the cups. One has more coffee them the other 😢

  • @AlternativeBrewing

    @AlternativeBrewing

    there may be slight differences yes. I would check the coffee is reasonably even in the basket, making sure that there's the same all the way around - so the depth of grounds is evenly distributed. Check to see it's not on an angle on the stove - and also the pipes may need a clean out - by just brewing with hot water no coffee. This should help in some ways - but in my experience - it does favor one side over another, not greatly - but enough to notice.

    Would you able to let us know which part is stainless steel and which part is aluminium?

  • @AlternativeBrewing

    The stainless part is the bottom water vessel - this comes in to contact with Induction stoves - the rest of is in aluminium.
