How to use the Approvals App in Microsoft Teams: Tutorial
Ғылым және технология
The Approvals app in Microsoft Teams makes it easy to request, approve, reject and reassign approvals in your organisation. In this video tutorial I show you how to use the Teams approvals app for basic approvals, approvals requiring more than one person to approve, templated approvals for common scenarios, and how to use Power Automate to trigger automated approvals.

This is great! Interface through Teams makes building the form so much easier than in Power Automate, but good to know how it's done!

Hi Jen! Thanks 😊
Brilliant! I'm off to rewrite our RFC process this afternoon then! Until now we've been using the basic request with a Word attachment from the channel. Your template solution is far better! Incidentally, we used to type "@approval" in a channel to trigger the application but it doesn't work for everyone now.
Hi. How do I add the Reassign option for the approver
Really helpful! I'm wondering if you could create a deep link to open the approval item (to one individual record, not the approvals tab) in Microsoft teams?
Thank you for posting this. Only question I have is how you can apply a template to Org wide as you show at 6:08. I only see a list of some (but not all) teams I am a member of, but can apply the template to only one of those teams. No option to choose anything else, so not quite sure what I'm missing.
Incredible content, Lisa. I have a customer that are struggling with one thing - how to set the production environment as default in the top right corner? Didn't find anything related to this.
Thanks Lisa. Very useful. One question or maybe 2. Is that possible for me to make a template that the attached file field that will be optional and not mandatory? And my second question. Is it possible to have just one approver but many others (let's say 2) just to be aware of that (without the permission to approve or reject). Is there any workaround to achieve that?

(1) Yes, you can set a template with the file attachment as optional (2) if you want to just make people aware of an approval rather than actually participating in the approval process I would use Power Automate to send a notification through the preferred channel when an approval is started or approved.
