Hello Levy ty for your videos, been enjoying your streams and videos a lot and gaining ELO along the way. Your comment minute 12 'no one is going to play h4' was something I didn't understand and I believe touched a concept I want to learn- hurting your own position to hurt your opponents. If h4 leads to a g file pawn exchange I understand it hurts your king, but does it not also hurt your opponents king position in the same way? Perhaps that exchange would not occur because another move makes more sense but the motif applies to other examples- I have my pawns positioned on dark squares making the light square bishops strong, when is it good to trade them? Alternatively in a closed position where the pawns control opposite squares would I rather have opposite would I prefer opposite bishops both biting rocks, to have my bishop same color as my pawns, opposite my pawns? And what would I prefer for my opponents bishop? After writing I suppose these are mostly separate concepts, the idea of when weakening both players is ok and bishop play. Hopefully these questions might give some inspiration for a future video, keep up the great work
