So far we have had good luck with this collar. Our dog responds to the beep usually. Sometimes just picking up the remote and he stops the unwanted behavior. Vibrating it makes him stop and leave the unwanted behavior area. We’ve only shocked at level 9 and he immediately stopped being naughty. They key to to train with dog so they learn what this means

For those of you struggling to pair your receiver(s), you must press and hold the on button until the green LED constantly flashes. That's not explained here.

Is there a way to turn off the shock while keeping the vibrate and beep on?

Any idea on how to pair two remotes with one collar? It only seems to work in reverse, where I can match multiple collars with one remote. I have an extra remote from a collar that went bad and I'd like to leave it in a different room in my house. When I try the method in this video, it just switches the remote that controls the collar.

We just purchased our second one. The first worked great. On the new one sometimes it works sometimes not. We can hear the beep working most times. Hard to tell on the vibration. Last collar the highest shock level ever used was 35. We had it on 99 and our dog wasn’t phased except then randomly could tell he felt something....will have to send it back...have you heard of this problem before?

i have a question for dog care are the rubber pieces for the prongs supposed to be on will the dog is wearing the collar and in use or are they to be removed when in use because ive taken them off and tested on myself for and even lv1 gave me a good jolt and im thinkin even lv1 might be to intense idk would like to hear back please thank you

Do NOT take the rubber off

Is there a way to make it so it doesn’t turn itself off? We had one of these before that worked fine but it was time to replace it and now the new one won’t stay on.

My family just got it if you could post a video on a chart of which level it should be on for your size and weight of the dog that would be GREAT!

Dear, Different sizes of dogs react differently. The collar fits for 10lbs-100lbs dogs, we recommended starting with a lower level, around 10-15 and see how they respond and increase from there if necessary!.

Anne M. It confused me, too. I hope this helps: turn the power on the handset. Hold the level button and then adjust the on/off knob. This will control the level from anywhere between 0 to 99. Sometimes I have to hold the level button again in order to keep adjusting

@@DOGCARE Thank you for your reply, however, I have repeatedly done exactly as instructed without success. I think something is wrong with the unit I received. Sometimes the shock level gets stuck in the 40 level range as well. I will just continue to use the beep and vibrate modes.

Just received today in the mail. The collar wont turn on. We charged for a couple hours and the remote read no battery still..... any ideas?

I must have an older one, but there is no on/off button on the collar. I have no idea how to sync it, because it's sure not working. Can anyone from the company answer this so I can use the collar?

turn the collar off, then turn on but hold for 5-10 seconds, then hold the button on remote that changes number and it will sync

This is as simple as it gets folks stop whining

To anyone who has this collar already, does it vibrate/shock as long as you hold the button or does it linger? Like if i press it for only a split second will it only go for that split second or continue on for like two seconds after? I'm considering getting this but it doesn't mention in the video if the collar is on point.

its basically instant, but you can hold button longer for longer duration, the shock mode will time itself out after 4seconds to avoid abuse

ive had this for more than a year. works reallly well. however for 2 days now... i can't reduce the shock level to 0 even after removing the associated collar. it came back to 26 as the lowest. turn on and off on the remote didnt work. any ideas?

Does this collar have an automatic bark function or do I have to manually press the vibrate or shock function myself? I need an automatic function for when we leave the house. I have a barker and my neighbors have complained so I need it to be automatic. Do I need to buy a different collar for this purpose?

I'm not sure of this thing keeps turning itself off or what but it doesn't always work. It works when I turn it back on but when my dog barks at something I got it at 99 and it doesn't shock him or hit him when I hit the vibrate button.

I hear it turns off after being on for some time .... I would be careful of keeping it at 99 once its actually on ... not sure how powerful that is but sounds very intense

Just tried the collar on my staffy medium sized, short haired dog for the first time. I set the shock to (lowest ?) setting 1 and he yelped and shot up in the air. I wasn't expecting him to even feel anything on that setting. Is there something wrong with the collar or is No.1 the highest setting? The beep and vibrate worked a treat. Thanks.

The User Manual indicates that "01" is the lowest setting on the Static Level Display. "Recommended Static Level strength starts from “10”. This is the minimum sensation your dog can feel. The right static level goes down to an individual basis that your dog is responsive to the shock function. The sensitivity to static depends on your dog’s size and weight, amount of fur, and even skin condition." Hope this helps...

He was probably not used to the dog collar. Just vibrate him and he will be fine. I only use shock for when my dog doesn’t respond to the vibrating.

Okay, I ordered 2 separate units (packages) and one collar has a push button to turn on the collar/receiver and the other one... nothing to push... The one with NOTHING TO PUSH is BIGGER, TOO. I noticed the instructions said to call if any questions OR CONFUSION... yes, a little confused. Why are they both labeled TC01, but the receivers are very different? Please advise!

I've been really happy with this training collar until today. Prior to now, all I had to do was charge it and turn it on and it paired up. Now, the remote doesn't pair up with the collar, even when both are fully charged. I've tried everything but it will not pair up, even changed the channel multiple times. Help!

I just had this same issue. Holding down the channel button for five seconds doesn’t change the channel. It moves up to 1 the. Goes back to 0.

I’ve learned that you have to press and hold the button on the receiver a few more seconds AFTER it initially turns on and vibrates. You will see the light flash green after those few additional seconds of holding and that is when you press and hold the pair button.

I love our collar we bought for our stubborn puppy but the vibrate function has stopped working at all. Beep works and I don't want to test the shock function on him as he's not done anything that is dangerous to himself. I will have to check with your customer care line on this as I am unable to find any information online.

HOLD the on off button down on the collar for a few seconds to turn the collar off. The little light will turn red and switch off,

This collar was very useful until it started automatically shutting off several times during the day.

How tight does the collar have to be for the shock to work? I tried it on myself and I had to push it down onto my skin to be able to feel anything, is that how it works?

Dear Christina, 1: Fully charge the receiver and make sure the collar is connected. 2: Adjust the shock level about 10. This intensity of shock would not affect you. Press and hold static level regulator activation the button which in remote’s top left and simultaneously rotate static level regulator until the digit on the screen reaches a suitable strength. 3: Put your 2 fingers attached the 2 electrodes 4: Press the shock button Please be careful while testing on your own!

There’s no mention of how the intensity levels work. Is “1” the least intense, increment if up?

I received this, and out of the box it wasn't paired. I've watched videos, read comments, and followed exact steps to pair the remote and receiver. Yet, it won't. The remote beeps and switches to 1 then goes right back to 0. 🤷‍♀️

This happened to me too. I received it today from Chewy and I have followed the manual and watched KZread videos. Had it connected and fully charged and still did not pair. I waited weeks for it to be in stock just to get one that doesn’t work

I had the same issue with my collar and remote. They would no longer pair and the channel number would not stay at 1 but I got the fix: 1. Turn off the collar, turn on the remote 2. On the remote, press the level and beep button until the displays reset to 0 and 00 3. Hold down the power button down until the green light starts to blink quickly. When it starts to blink fast, release the button. 4. Hold the remote's channel select button down for 5 seconds and the remote and collar will pair Hope this helps! It worked for me.

You say to start at a low level and work your way up, but how high is too high? What happens if I shock my 20lb dog at 99? I don’t think this should be a “use your common sense” tool.
