Esa es una cría, y tendría unos 600 Kg ±, por eso lo atacan. Un adulto de rinoceronte blanco va de 2,5 a 4,5 t, es decir, no habría vídeo de leones atacando, sino huyendo despavoridos. Sólo los elefantes pueden con los rinocerontes y éstos son los únicos, a su vez, que se atreven a enfrentar elefantes, aunque siempre pierden y se mandan, aunque hay registros de tigres de Bengala atacando adultos tanto de rinos de India como elefantes asiáticos...

Hunters did not do that. It was to deter poachers who would kill the animal for its horn. Park Rangers cut their horns off to protect them and that makes them vulnerable to lion attack.
