    UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzread.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

    I use 2 of the same Chemical Guys mitts w/ the 2 bucket method. Mitt #1 is in this order. Roof, windshield, hood, windows and the top half of the body panels. Mitt #2 is front grill and bumper panel, rear windshield, trunk lid, lower half of the side body panels, then rear bumper. Never use them on the wheels or exhaust tips. The Mitts are AMAZING at picking up contaminates ... actually too good. So even with the 2 bucket method you won't fully remove the worst grime until you machine wash them. That is why using 2 and taking a bit more time will really help with accidently bringing more grime from the dirtiest areas to the cleaner ones.

    When you pressure wash FIRST, you're using high pressure to push the dirt and debris into and all over your paint! Not good! You should use the foam cannon FIRST, let it dwell (sit), THEN use the pressure washer to remove all the dirt and debris. The foam will both loosen up the dirt and act as a lubricant to move the dirt off the vehicle as you pressure wash it off. THEN, foam cannon a second time, then wash as you normally would. By using the foam cannon FIRST and then pressure washing, you're actually removing 80-90 percent of the debris.

    So I live in the city now and don’t have access at condo to wash car. Doing 2 bucket wash method at local DIY car wash. I tempted to take a pair of plier and unscrew power washer tip and add my own tip so I can use foam canon. Ever try this, seem possible? I think I saw an tip adapter kit at chemical guys for foam canon. Thoughts, suggestions?

  • @AutoHeadz

    @AutoHeadz

    3 жыл бұрын

    Iv never tried this myself. The only issue I could see is that there may be too much pressure at the car wash, but it is absolutely possible. I would try out the adapter and see if that works. It’s going to be one of those things you may have to play with a little to figure out. Start with getting the foam cannon and take a look at the fittings on the pressure washer. You should be able to tell if there is a quick disconnect on the washer.

    @@AutoHeadz Thanks for the info. The car wash owner is usually milling about so I don't want to get flak for unscrewing power washer wand to put foam canon on. Worst case scenario is that I use just water to power wash dust/dirt off and do my 2 bucket wash method. Just spent $800 on my 2018 Challenger Scat Pack for paint correction and had them add a ceramic coating, just trying to keep it looking good. Good news is that now that I'm in the city the car is no longer a daily driver so low miles and less wear and tear on the paint driving around Chicago.

    I like the 15 for tires and undercarriage and 25+ for everything else. I definitely keep my distance when washing though. You really shouldn’t be using the “pressure” from the pressure washer to remove grime from your truck. Better off loosening it with water, hitting it with foam then finishing the job with the mitt and rinse.

    The sun joe pressure surprised me big time before using one I had only used gas pressure washers but mine was broke so borrowed my buddies. I was shocked at 1. How quiet they are, how powerful they are and the fact that you can wash your car early without waking up all your neighbors. No one wants to be that guy. I have had my sun joe for 4 years now and it works just as good as brand new. I did however change the wand to a stubby one when washing my truck. I can just get much closer without risky scratching the paint.

    So Mr. Pink would be the best to use on your truck during the colder months when you have to let it get warmer outside? Just want to know because washed my truck with Armor All snow foam when sun was out and it left dried spots which was hard to get rid of.

    Mr. Pink is designed to be used in ALL weather. It’s unique because you can use it in DIRECT sunlight without worrying about sun spots. It has a slickness to it that allows it to not dry as quick as other soaps, almost like a built in detailer feel to the soap.

    I got the "Max 8 foam professional foam cannon" by chemical guys today. I hooked it up and I've got no bubbles. There's nothing flowing out of the foam cannon other than pure water. I see a nipple inside that's not hooked up to a plastic straw. Is there supposed to be a straw in this thing that's just missing? Otherwise, why no bubbles?
