    Good and informative video! I'm looking for something like this but more for edge protection. My concern with it wrapping the bottom is water getting trapped and held down there opening up opportunity for rust. Usually there's a reason cars and built the way they are. Maybe it's not an issue so much where you live but I know where I live it can and does rain almost everyday and some parts of the year can rain for days straight. Just food for thought.

    I bought one this spring with the extra battery sale, much less expensive than the car specific blowers & performs better, the big advantage is getting the water out of all of the cracks and crevaces you chase forever hand drying, i do follow up wth a towell and detailer or rinseless wash & i mostly use a 2.5 battery for better ballance but the smaller battery doesn't last long on turbo ! .

    If you’re gonna replace the y pipe, why not replace the top radiator hose? $200 is why. if you don’t need either and all you need is O-rings why are you replacing anything but the O-rings? Top radiator hose has a connector the same as the y pipe. Do this job with some snap on tools you can buy with the $200 you save by just replacing the O-rings

  • @AutoHeadz

    200!?!? Where are you getting these prices?!?!This entire install cost 60$ in parts. Check the description my man. It’s so cheap and the YPipe is prone to failure you might as well replace both while you are in there.

    Went ahead and ordered active 2.3 for $580 delivered. Kranzle cost twice more and specs are actually lower…claims to be reliable, but they all seem to be about the same as far as design, so IMO all equally prone to the same types of failure. With Kranzle, there basically no support if it breaks, but found Active has some good support.

    Only fits 2006-2008 IS350, BTW the headlights are a complete eye sore because the DRL sit way too high, I own both the V1 Vlands and the V2. I highly advise watching Tuner for kids upgrading the Vland version 1!

  • @AutoHeadz
    @AutoHeadz17 күн бұрын

    I think that’s a style preference. I think the new style flows nicely with the front end. I get compliments constantly on this people thinking it’s a newer style. When I tell them I paid 11k they can’t believe it. The old VLANDS look nice too.

  • @antwontwontwon2378

    @@AutoHeadz I agree that these headlights look great, but I only see them fitting in with the 4th gen conversion (if the conversion didn't have such a huge gap between the bumper and hood). My coworker has an 06 with the headlights, and it just makes me cringe the way they look. I wouldn't do that to mine because IMO, it looks gaudy and hardly resembles the stock 2011+ lights, which the Vlands v1 mimic really well, keeping this car looking updated like some secret 2015 model. I just don't want people buying these and having the same buyer's remorse I did.

    Would like to add for anyone watching, get adjustable LEDs. Where they sit factory with round bulbs, to aftermarket LEDs, you need to change the rotation of the chips to be centered at 9 and 3 inside the projector. If you put them in just how they are, they will not project correctly. Make sure the brand you buy, has adjustable LEDs. The ones in this video is not adjustable. Auxito does sell adjustable ones but these specific ones are not...

    Be careful with these lights .Installed two on my Lexus and a year later, one of them burned and blew the dome lights fuse. it was a pain to find the root cause until I finally figured out it was the Logo light that was defective. changing the fuse was painful as well, had to remove lower interior panel by the drivers side to reach in a very confined space to have the fuse replaced. I put back the original lights and everything is working fine.

    I bought pressure washer about two months ago...didn't see the need to buy anything larger. I paired it with a McKillans foam cannon, quick connect kit, and a swivel handle. The Ryobi works just fine...plenty of foam, and so far not a single issue. I picked it up on sale at Home Depot for about $89 or so. But you will need an adapter (M14-22 male to M15-22 female) to hook up your hose and foam cannon...seems Ryobi uses an oddball size on the unit. Very pleased with my setup so far.
