My laptop is hp model 15 dw1014 And has 2 ram slots....so I watched your video and it really helped...but my one problem is that when I want to add the 2nd ram ...which is 4 gb.....The other ram slot doesn't have That "Din" which you've mentioned in "5:35:" ....So how do I add another ram....if the ram slot is there to put atleast 2 but the Din to hold the ram isn't there....I can show u a picture of how it looks if I can get your contact details..

Great video and thank you. Question: i just ordered the the ram you suggested for this laptop 15-dw3033dx. two sticks of 8gb @ 2400mhz. But i just noticed on another site it says this computer has 8gb of 3200mhz ram. should i cancel and order 3200 mhz ram? will it work , or will it be less capable than 16 gb of 3200 mhz. Regarding your question, the laptop comes with 8gb 3200 but if you place another 8gb 3200 the motherboard will auto adjust and lower the MHz to a usable number. you can place the 2x 8gb 2400mhz and it will work just fine and zero complication. or you could get the 2x 8gb 3200mhz but your laptop will have a hard time to auto adjust the ram speed, because as you increase the ram GB on a laptop the ram speed will auto decreases by the bios. if your CPU is INTEL, then don't worry at all about the MHz just get the 2400 and you be more than fine. So I put two new ram's in, and the computer will still work? Or one first in spare slot,boot computer, shut it down once hp appears.then add the second new ram,boot computer? Thank you

Regarding your question, we usually recommend installing the RAM sticks one by one. Start by installing one stick and then boot the system. After that, power off the system and add the second RAM stick. Power on the system again and wait for about 1-15 seconds for it to boot. If this method doesn't work, you can try swapping the RAM sticks.
