How To Tune Your Sabvoton Controller (MQCON App)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, I show you how to tune your controller settings to get the very best out of your new/existing sabvoton controller. Everything is done through the MQCON app and should be done prior to riding your high-powered e-bike for the 1st time.

so i just spent about an hour with a motor failing the hall test over and over again. it wasnt making sense to me because it was failing on both sets of hall sensor wires coming from the motor. i tried both sets several times and then did a really thorough inspection of the wires including very close inspection of all hall sensor wires attaching to pins inside connectors. i was about ready to open the motor and inspect the wires inside when i had the thought to come watch your video and make sure i wasnt doing something wrong. i wasnt, i was doing it right but i immediately noticed your motor spinning forward during the hall test and mine was going backwards. i swapped the blue phase and green phase wires and passed the hall test on the first try. thanks for having this video here bro, much appreciated.

I believe the hall test orientation the controller mofsets with the windings of the motor, so they are all in synch. The field weakening modifies the power to the motors winding as it spins to allow it to spin faster. But, I'm just guessing... :)

The hall test mainly makes sure the hall sensors are running properly. I always recommend doing it if you decide to swap motors. Flux weakening when enabled basically gives your bike a boost in top speed at the expense of some higher temps if throttling for too long.

Hey man really love the kit! I'm actually helping a friend install it on their X-Class. Followed all the directions precisely but for some reason the QS8 connectors from the Sab to the battery keeps heating up to almost melting point. Everything works fine on the bench but as soon there's any load on it the connectors start smoking and I have to disconnect immediately. All the connections look good and tune seems fine. Not really sure what's happening.
