    Just finished swimming 1.7km in open water today. Took me 30 minutes, which is a new personal best for me on this specific swim (not so bad considering I'm 13) Thanks for the tips! Great video as always. Live deeply and tread lightly!

    I have to learn how to tread water for ten straight minutes. Two minutes of treading with shoulders out of water, six minutes of normal treading, followed by two minutes of treading with hands out. I have to learn this in the next 3 weeks. Is it possible to learn this skill for someone that has no experience with eggbeaters?

    Hi Jimmy, That will be very tough to try and do in 3 weeks, you will need to train 5-6 times a week to build up the endurance for that and it will depend on your current fitness levels if you will be able to sustain that. Anything is possible if you want it badly enough but you will need to work at it consistently and make sure you do not overdo it and cause injury. Good luck!

    @@sarahferguson6946 thank you for replying 🙏 I'm really bad at treading water and I'm trying to re-learn. I thought I need to hold my breath the whole time in order to stay afloat and that scares me!! I need to train my legs and arms not to get tired easily 😅

    @@softsunset You are welcome. Breathing is essential in any form of exercise and the more relaxed you are when treading the better you will float. So try to relax your breathe and your movements it is much easier to tread water in salt water than fresh water. Being relaxed is key
