Hi guys! Lots of information to take from this video, so here is the training session breakdown: Warm up - 10 minutes Technical work - 15 minutes Speed/Agility work - 15 minutes Main Component - 20-30 minutes Specialty Work - 10 minutes Cool Down - 10 minutes Total time - 90 minutes Main points: - Gradually increase intensity of the session, starting light, pack the middle of your session with high intensity work, then lower the intensity towards the end. - Keep the bulk of your training position specific by replicating a situation you may find in a game. Get creative with it. - If you “don’t have time” for a full training session, make time. You have to prioritise training over other things if you want to be successful. No excuses. Enjoy!

I really like your videos for individual improvement, I feel like a better player from 6 months or so of following them 2-3x a week. It would be nice to see some more group (3-5 people) drills I/we could use in squad trainings/with friends. Cheers

I play as a defender and im quite short although i can read the play well for my level of football. I hope one day to reach the highest level i can even if its just Australia Federation or club football

Hey Michael, I love your videos man! I often get caught ball watching before receiving a pass when the speed of play is high and then have to take extra touches to figure out what to do next. Do you have any ideas about how to simulate this pressure in individual training and develop better field awareness in games?

The only way to really develop this speed of thought is to continue to expose yourself to high pace play situations. Over time you will improve 👍

I watched this RIGHT before heading out to the pitch to practice on my own. 10-15 min of the walk-jog-sprint.....holy crap....I did about 5 min and almost died. I am soooo out of shape. Wow!! Killer workout. #fitnessgoals
