Thank you very much for such short but very helpful video. I have been struggling for a while now with my kitchen’s faucet handle. I kept forgetting to tell the landlord, but you just saved me the hassle of having people in my apartment. I had the tools and I did it myself with your help. No more burns. I truly appreciate you!

Now what size screw is that you're using, because we have the same faucet but lost the screw , though the handles can be put back on we have to be careful how we turn or it'll keep falling off.

I have an old peerless faucet and as a almost blind senior just spent 2 hrs trying all my alen keys and found one that seemed to fit but can't unscrew it !! why do they make these things so hard to work with .. couldn't they just have put in a reg screw... thanks

There isn't even a screw in mine??? Is that what's causing my tap to leak from the ball part when I turn it on half way up? Or does that part have a washer inside it? My water pressure went down but just on this tap that has no screw, that's now leaking after a few years. I'm 60 female, poor af and try to fix things myself, so any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Edit: okay figured out the hex key thing. However, it's tight enough. So, how do I pry off that top piece? I'll try to figure it out.

You need to find that very tiny ‘set screw’; it may have fallen inside the tap or is underneath your sink in the cabinet beneath. It’s REALLY tiny. If it’s lost you can photograph the faucet and buy one from a hardware store.

There’s a little plastic access cover on mine; it’s the same colour as the tap. Put the plug in the sink so you don’t lose it and gently pry it out with a tiny flathead screwdriver or tweezers.
