I am first time looking at your new chanel

Can you use rubber bands? We are doing something in school and we are using the whole class period to rubber band the shirt. Can i do just crumple it and then rubber band it in place? Or will that ruin it?

Curious as to why you say to put unwashed shirts in dryer or to wash shirts without laundry soap. The dye manufactures say to wash after rinsing the dye out.

I usually rinse them in water until no dye comes out and then dry them so that the dye sets into the shirt. If you wash them with laundry soap it might strip the dye even more. I will possibly do a comparison on washing the shirt vs not washing it with the soap.

@@CraftyCaboodle If your dye is washing out during laundering your are using a poor quality dye. With rit dye there are two ways to set it. There is a dye fixative and there is also a microwave method. I would suggest going to their site for more info. Or you could get a better dye. Dharma Trading has kits with professional dyes.
